Ask your fiancé to be checking her mail constantly, cuz the p3 is sent to the petitioner and not the beneficiary and if ur fiancé is the type that deletes mails, she might want to follow up on that if she’s still not received wait till like day 3.5 months and start filling ur ds 160 n stuff n if at the end of it all u don’t hear from them maybe u think bout booking ur appointment, it almost u waited for 5 months

i'm the petitioner so i've been on it. This is our 5th week of waiting so we are still in the timerame of 8 weeks. I haven't started to panic . . . yet

No I still haven’t received p3. I wonder if there’s something I need to do to get the p3 in my email. Did you submit DS 160?

I did submit it, but i havent paid the visa fee. Will be doing that in the next couple days then find out the available dates for interview.  I'm really sorry you haven't received  it yet.  It's been way too long

For K1 visas I tot we are only supposed to fill out DS-160 after we receive P3. Please which one is DS-260. Please advise 🙏🏾

    It's definitely DS-160. Might be a misprint.

I'll be looking at interview dates this weekend and book one, especially if the dates are now in July. I figure by then it will have been well over the 8 week waiting period, actually it will be 4 months after so i should be ok.

    Thank you all.

What does the nvc website says regarding ur petition. Does it say ready for interview or something else? I am not sure what will happen when my fiancée shows up for her interview appt without not receiving an email from the ghana embassy.

I have read on here if you go to the interview without receiving the packet three they send you back and have to reschedule it. Some people plan their interview well in advance so that they receive it before the interview but you are right, its a gamble.

I am in similar situation. NVC sent my approved petition to Ghana embassy in early april. Still waiting to hear from them. I decided to go ahead and schedule an interview despite not hearing from them based on the msg below i received after visiting the NVC website

Hello, i'm new and i've been learning a lot so thanks for being transparent. My petition was also sent in early april and i wanted to know what the interview dates looked like. i'll be paying my visa fee this week and hopefully, hear back by the end of next week from the embassy.  I just wanted to know if there are enough interview dates or if they are few, as well as how far away the closest date is
