Good news! I finally got a second I-797C - NOA letter in the mail over the weekend
My petition was transferred from the Nebraska Service Center to the Texas Service Center "in order to speed up processing." (according to the notice)
Keeping my fingers crossed!
Congrats 🎊🎉🙌

I think they're worried it negatively affects their changes for a IR/CR-1. Perhaps because of issues with sponsorship?
At least I think that's what OP is worried about.
Exactly! These migratory processes are very strict lately and after so long we don't want to ruin it!

Then what is the problem?
I'm just wait for an interview date, we don't know if it causes any problem to apply for unemployment 🤷♀️

Nobody should have gotten fired because of covid 19, many have been laid off.
If he had never worked in the USA he is not eligible for unemployment benefits.
He has worked his whole life, is born in the USA and has never asked for help of any kind!

I think you mean "laid off", not "fired". Well, I guess somebody could be fired over policy changes as a result, but that would be a personal issue, not due to COVID-19 itself.
If he qualifies for his state's unemployment compensation, then he can apply fine.
For health insurance, he should be able to do either COBRA, get a plan on the marketplace (via healthcare.gov), or obtain private insurance.
Thank you!

Hi guys,
With all this coronavirus many questions arise! If my husband is left without a job, can he apply for health insurance and unemployment? I'm waiting for the interview date ... Many people have been fired and suspended from work 😔

I feel frustrated! I submitted the documents on January 7 and 8, also for my daughter (CR1 & CR2), my daughter received the mail of documents qualified on January 9, I'm still waiting! I'm desperate ...
I hope it's my turn this week! 😭🙌 My daughter has not yet received the email for the interview because both cases are unified! When my case is complete then the interview will arrive for both the same day ...

Vermont is one of the slowest service center out there, I don't understand why there, but hopefully it is for good! Good luck to you and all the transferred ...

Yes, it was received by my husband and herself! They sent 2 emails ...
I contacted the NVC yesterday because I don't want the interviews to be separated, they indicated the cases were unified but if in 2 weeks they did not send to me the DQ email, I have to sent an inquiry ...

UPDATE!!!
DQ for my daughterUploaded: Jan 8

Nothing for me 😩😭 I uploaded mine the same day ... I ask God not to make me wait 4 to 8 weeks for review 😩😭🙏 -

In my daughter's I-130 I put her email, the NVC sent the 6 steps to her and to my husband! I didn't think it would come to her since she is only 11 years old, but thank God they both arrived! 🙏🎉

Sorry to hear that. Holidays suck ! But any day now you'll get it!
Just an update. I paid my AOS and IV fees the same day I got invoice and case #s . In 2 or 3 days I recieved and email from NVC that the IV payment failed, I paid it again the same day and the both fees went through in about 4 days. Hope this timing helps anyone
Good to have good news from you! I hope you only have to upload the documents only once and get out of that fast 🙏

I’m seeing that it’s taking about a month to get this. And with the holidays, maybe a little longer. I’m sure you’ll be hearing from them soon though!
I hope so! The snowstorms and holidays have contributed to the long wait ... Thanks and good luck to you!

Hi 🤗
I am tired of being away from my husband, he can't come to see me either and this coronavirus issue has me tired. I have to wait for an interview assignment again!
My daughter has her DQ since January 9 and I since March 9!!!
Guys how are your processes going?
