UPDATE: Card in production.
PD: March 6th
March 23rd Biometrics Letter
March 25th Walk in to Biometrics & Expedite Request. (Based on financial loss)
March 29th Requested evidence. (History updated to response was sent)
April 4th Replied with evidence.
April 9th Email Reply that evidence was received and I would receive a decision shortly.
April 11th I called in and a Tier 2 officer put in another request for an update on the previous Expedite (History changed to assigned and completed)
April 29th New Card in Production! 54 days since filing.
Congratulations!! Great news indeed. My update is "card has been mailed" as of this past Friday. There is no tracking number though. Any idea how long will it take to be delivered?

Did you reach out to your congressman by letter? or by phone? We have a letter written up but phone seems more direct.
I went to congressman's office and provided him all the required documents. I also placed an expedite request directly with USCIS on April 10th, received first email on April 12th asking to fax them job offer termination letter. My new employer provided a letter stating "if i don't receive work authorization by April 29th, they will terminate my job offer". I faxed all documents on April 15th and received an update on April 19th that we will hear a decision shortly. On April 23rd, my case updated to "New card is in production". I cannot believe expedite actually works. Got the approval on 76th day after filing AOS.
I would recommend directly calling USCIS to expedite the EAD process and then reaching out to congressman by phone if not in person,. Good luck!

Thank you! So is it normal that when I check my status for I-131 online it does not show any update but only shows an update for my work authorization?
Yes, it is normal. Guess what, just a minute ago i got a notification that 'New Card Is Being Produced'. Expedite indeed worked, not sure if it was congressman who did the magic or expediting directly with USCIS. Glad you got it approved too.

I just checked and it said my work authorization card is being produced! BUT, i never requested to expedite my work authorization, only my travel authorization!!
I'm confused!
@florida123 Congratulations!! This is great news. Travel/Work authorization are part of same EAD card.

Please keep me posted! It looks like we both made our expedite request on the same day (April 10th). I reached out to my congresswoman and the liason said they sent in my evidence as well, but haven't heard anything since!
Sure will do. Yes i reached out to my congressman as well and they sent the expedite request as well. Haven't heard anything after the email we received on 19th. Hopefully we both hear the good news today. Good luck

I just called USCIS and was transferred to a tier 2 who said that as of right now there is no response (I received an update Friday that they received my documents). Hoping and praying that I get a response ASAP!
I received the email on same day as yours. No updates after that. I really hope they make a decision this week.

Nothing, I just got off the phone with a Tier 2 and they said I'm on track and that if I don't receive an answer by the 45th day of the expedited original date when I requested it, to submit another one. NBC will not provide a response to Denial, and Tier 2 can't see if they denied it, he said to assume it was denied by the 46th day, unless I get action of a new card being received or a letter of approval in the mail.
I really hope they approve mine, they're taking forever.
Yeah honestly, when i spoke to Tier 2 officer it was such a disappointing. But in all honesty, i have only seen people getting approvals for legit use cases like ours so i dont see a reason why they will deny yours. Stay positive, it will be approved
. It's just a matter of time now!!

I received that email today. I faxed everything in on the 13th of April and again this past monday (because I wasnt sure if it was ok to fax things in on Saturday). So if they received my fax Saturday its been 6 days exactly since i faxed in my evidence.
We have same timelines. I have faxed the evidence on April 15th and just received an email saying "We received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly." Can't wait for approval email now. Wishing you the same. Good luck!!!

I’ve seen that too. Today is 10 days so hopefully in the morning I received a new status of card in production. Will keep you posted!
@JWSA26 Did you receive any update? I just received an email saying "We received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly." Had faxed the documents on April 15th, and just received this letter. Hopefully we all get the approval soon!!!

My case shows that as well, I’m gonna die in this process
Hopefully to get that status after my call tomorrow. What you I 485 status page says?
My i 495 status is "As of March 18, Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.". I don't expect to receive an interview for next several months as my field office is very slow. FO Newark, NJ. What is your i 485 status?

I faxed them April 4th, received email that they received documents on April 9th.
”We received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly.”
I think you are getting close to approval email now. From the research i have done, looks like people are getting approval after approx two weeks from the date they receive the above email. Good luck and please let me know as soon as you get an update. Thank you!

No
I faxed April 1, let me know if you receive any update please
Definitely, will do! This wait is killing me. What do you see in your case history? I see "We will prepare your case for officer review. If we need more information, we will notify you." as next steps.

I called and asked and the officer submitted another request but it wasn't another expedite. The request was to have an update on the current expedite request and thats when I received the email
When did you faxed your documents. Did you received any emails after you faxed them?

Im going to call them tomorrow and I ask for that, do you ask to contact a level 2 officer?
I spoke to Tier 2 office yesterday and dint help much. All he said is to wait for few more days and that i will hear back. I faxed my job letter on April 15th and haven't heard anything yet. Please let me know how it goes tomorrow with Tier 2 officer. Thanks

It depends on many variables. I don’t have a definitive answer. My whole process from expediting to receiving the EAD combo card (this friday) has been about a month. Almost 4 weeks, I did however, when the email came through about the RFE (proof) did not submit the email also. I resubmitted on the 28th of March. I also had my congresswoman working on my situation.
Yeah hoping to hear back soon with an update. Next steps on my case shows " we will prepare your case for officer review. If we need additional information, we will notify you". I spoke to L2 officer yesterday but dint help much. He dint answer if they received the documents that I faxed...

Hopefully you get that card being produced notification this week or next to show your employer. I never got our congressman involved so maybe yours will be faster.
And in all honesty - you never know. I think I was one of the ones that has taken longer versus some of the other people that recently posted their timelines on here... wishing you best of luck
Agreed! Thank you. I will keep everyone posted as IF i hear more updates so it helps other people who are in the same boat!!

Hey guys,
is there a timeline on when to expect expedite response from USCIS once we fax them the job offer/termination letter. I have created an online account but i don't see any case history except 'we have received your case' update. Thank you!

Yay! Fingers crossed I follow your timeline then
thanks so much for the update!
Hey Guys,
I am in the same situation. Filed AOS (i485, i765, i131) on Feb 7th. Placed an expedite request with USCIS on April 10th based on a good job offer from IT employer. USCIS sent me an email on Friday April 12th asking me to provide a termination letter from employer. My employer was kind enough to provide additional letter saying 'offer will be terminated if don't receive a valid EAD prior to start date'. I faxed all the required docs yesterday, April 15th. Now the wait begins....... I hope they approve it soon!
