  1. Hello,

I recently made an instagram account about preparing and soon leaving and the k1 process. Which made me wonder about others, please share your name so I can follow.

I adore love stories, I adore following other intercultural couples.

    Thanks

(please move the subject if it isn't in the good place, I didn't know where to post).

PS: almost forgot to say mine is called manouvelleaventure

Yes but only after marriage. AOS for the interview will be in your P3 letter which will reference the I-134. To find a guide you'll need to get out of your safe room and look around VJ menus and you'd be surprised at what you'll find. Try GUIDES from the blue ribbon at the top of the page.

    Thank you

I am making a to do list of steps and documents, I already took my appointment

Question...   if your case is not Ready to schedule interviews, how do you know there is only two days a month allocated to K1 Interviews?

Your comment makes me wonder how many options I will have at the Rio Brazil location.    From the stats, interviews look to be scheduled about two months after the NVC left date.

I keep talking to people who are before me and keep updated with another girl. They sent me screenshot of dates so I knew it's 2 mornings a month on wednesday and last week the first spot available was july 24th spot

I think your beating on a dead horse, or that dog don't hunt. JMHO.

I have no idea what this means.
I think I just need to find people to complain a little about our uneffective system because I am tried of having to live alone for 4 years and a half officially next week. Sometimes it's just too hard. But seems I can't find other people to complain.

  5. Is it possible to change embassy for interview during the process?
    After DS 160 done ?

Because the embassy in paris is WAY TOO LAME and I didn't know about that before. I leave 2 hours away from Brussels and London and Paris, so I could definetly take another one.

Paris now offers next interviews not until end of August... great France... well-known to be awful with administration

Your working your brain too much on this process. I recommend stepping away for a week from VJ and concentrate on yourself and what you like to do. At times we put so much pressure on ourselves that we began to start overthinking the process. You have to trust the process and wait for things to happen. Your approval and next steps will come in time. After you have taken some time for yourself come back refreshed.

I left for a week, once I saw my case hadn't been added to the shippment may 1st and 2nd and still had to wait for next week shipments. It is unbelievable they have so many cases to deal with but they end up shipping twice a month! It's so bad

  7. Does it happen to others too. At some point when I don't have what I want I just don't get happy when I have it.
For this visa, I am at a stage where I still can't take my embassy appointment (cause they are so long to ship from nvc) that i am just bored and know I won't even rejoice when I can take it. I will just do it.

Like this just went over a stage where I can't be happy anymore. It's just too desperating I don't want to hear about it.

I checked ceac tracking today and status changed from "at NVC" to "in transit" how waiting times are changing!!

    NOA1   11/28

    NOA2    4/1

    NVC rec  4/20

    NVC number 4/25

    In transit 4/30

Does this mean it will be sent to embassy in today's shipment? Also, in the message box says "your interview date was provided to you by the national visa center" but I have not received any

Oh weird I was assigned number 26th april and it is still at nvc 😕

I have done all that the day after I found out about noa2 :P  I have read everything 10000 times, I have even prepared all to write for DS form online thanks to the templar!
I have now gathered all the documents, even the picture, I just wait... that's why I am so bored haha it's ready since forever

The case is not set to ready once it arrives at NVC. The case "ready" status is shown when your file reaches your embassy and the embassy, when ready, will set your record to "ready" on the ceac.state.gov website. That "ready" condition signifies to the beneficiary it's time to start taking the next steps.

NVC doesn't ship out cases but once every other week. Next shipment is tomorrow and Wednesday. Each Embassy is different on how they handle the timing of "ready".  Lots of information on how all this works on the first post of this thread. Your mileage may vary.

Oh good news maybe my case will be in the tomorrow shipping :) Thank you

If your having problems with the CEAC site timing out when looking up your case it's because the system is trying to cross reference the immigrant case number with the non immigrant AA number.  You select Non-Immigrant from the drop down menu and select the proper Embassy location. Then you enter the AA number from your DS-160 number and presto...a much quicker and consistent response. The output is the same but you no longer have the problem with the system timing out while doing the search...

Please, what is the AA number on the noa2 then ? Useless to track?

There's no way to track our case after noa2 except once you get nvc number ?
