Hi everyone, hope you all are doing well. My mom has an immigrant visa (I-130) that expires in August. She still has some work to finish in her home country. Can her visa be extended? If not, can she come to the U.S. before the expiration, activate her LPR status, and then return to her home country to finish her work? What are the rules for re-entering the U.S. in this scenario? Thank you so much for your help and advice!
