I just called NVC -- case is already shipped to Mumbai, India.
So, things seem to move much faster once approved.
-
I just checked my mail (not e-mail). TWO APPROVAL LETTERS FROM DHS!! Dated 6/1/2007

USCIS website still says pending! Keep up the hope all.
-
Kimmbo, yes we do have an almost exact timeline. But, I have no idea what that touch on 6/3 was for.
-
Congrats!! BUT PLEASE FILL IN YOUR TIMELINE!! It helps the rest of us
-
Tell her to bring what you need for the interview with her to the UK. I plan on going to India in August -- hopefully the petition will be in India by then :-/
-
From NOA1 -- but the average hasn't been very useful these days....
-
124 days -- ouch
congrats

GOOD NEWS! I got the RFE today, and it asked me for the original marriage certificate (copy) in the foreign language. Phew! I overnighted it!
Hey Console, congrats! That was easy. Good luck to you bro!

since i don't see any more march filers here regularly i am assuming majority of them got their approvals.
i feel sooooo left out :crying:
Nah, last I checked only 9 out of 42 were approved. Just hang in there buddy

I called USCIS today and they told me their system will be down for 24 hours -- so, probably no updates tomorrow either.
-
It's required by the Mumbai consulate as well. K3 is visitor but you change status once you get here to permanent resident.
-
If you're getting that from the K3 timeline page, it's actually an average of K1 and K3. Do 'Search Timeline' for the real average.
-
Don't worry Neel, we know touches usually mean nothing.
-
Nah, the majority of March filers at VSC have not been approved. Out of 19, 4 are approved with an average delay of 73 days since NOA1 -- though this includes the freak 56 day approval. So it's more like 78-80 days.
-
I got touched today on both petitions. I'm not sure if it's a real touch or if it's just due to their system change. The old login page now says
The USCIS Case Status Online website has moved to a new location. You can now access it at: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jspThe USCIS Process Times website has moved to a new location. You can now access it at: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp
Anyone with similar touches?

i bee thinking i am the next for the past two weeks...but NOTHING- so i am not gonna get my hopes high yet.
my patience level has been horrible all my life...so i guess this is God's way of teaching me a lesson... :innocent:
We'll all be better people at the end of it

How would they even verify that your parents DOB is incorrect?
Well he could have submitted an addendum to his 130 package saying he put in the wrong DOB? No clue otherwise.
I put in the wrong move date on my bio forms for myself (wrote down 2006 when I meant 2005). I wrote a letter to USCIS and called them -- they said it's so minor, I don't need to worry about it.

How'd you get in touch with them? Which number did you call? I'm hesitant to say anything because from my experience, and this board, USCIS helpline has been pretty unhelpful in actual case status (besides from what you can see on the website).
-
I was looking at your timeline yesterday, Guru, and was about to say you should be approved very soon. Congrats I'm glad VSC is picking up now.
Console -- don't worry. RFE means about 2 weeks later you get approved (if you submit what they're looking for ASAP).
-
And it "only" took 87 days
I was transferred 13 days after you to VSC -- let's hope this means I only have 13 days left
I've adjusted my hope of approval to mid-June. Consolemaster's should be coming up soon.
-
hello
does any one got an approval today or at least a touch by USCIS
thank you
I got my I-130 approved today
The I-129F is still pending and maybe will get void since the I-130 was approved first. I am confused there
CONGRATS! A VSC approval! Let's get that I-129F approved too.
-
Just today, Cander.
-
I've called too. Spoke to a real person -- still pending. Then they give me the "October 2006" is the current date spiel. I would be terribly heart-broken right now if I hadn't made plans to go visit my wife in August.
I130 approved today!!!
