  1. I was travelling back and forth from the US and Canada over the last 3 years visiting fiance and showing my horses (NOTE - I was not working). I got nabbed going across to the US (I'm Canadian) last june. The lovely border guard informed me that I had been in the US too much and tossed me back Canuck side. Initially they told me I had a 5 year ban but I got a letter in the mail about a week later that said they were not inacting the 5 year ban and I could travel to the US if proper ties to Canada were shown....

My question is - is this going to affect my visa?

  2. Thank you for all the POSITIVE replies...

I can read thank you! :) AND there is a lot of information out there, and it doesn't all seem to have the same answer....

I just wanted to get the pulse of people who are actually going through this... I was hoping to hear from people who are filing from the same Country CS etc.

Again, thank you for all the positive replies, I am new to this and appreciate the support! :)

Haven't you ever heard the term .. ."There are no stupid questions?"

  3. My fiance (He's American, I'm Canadian) filed our I-129 last week, we got out NOA1, just a few days later.... I checked out the Vermont SC and it said they're just processing forms from August? How reliable is this information?? I'm trying to plan my life, so any info/help you can give would be appreciated!! I'm very new to this process and still trying to figure it out....

ALSO - is there anything else I should be doing to help speed the process along?? Stuff I can get done ahead of time?
