Tiffany NY Bridal Shop - 604-291-7117
3536 East Hastings St
Vancouver, BC
This place is GREAT. They have brides dresses, bridesmaids, prom. The prices are great and the staff very knowledgable. You have to drive through the ghetto to get there, but it's worth it. Great selection.
I'm sure they can help you find a simple dress!

20/21.
A couple of those were guesses, and I guess I guessed right! (There are WAY too many guesses in that sentence).

Everyone tells you not to stress, it's easy.... AND IT IS!
I felt nervous etc until I got into the building in Vancouver, then everyone does their best to put you at ease. It really is quick and painless.
Let us know as soon as you're approved!

Got my visa on Tuesday - activating it today!
Everyone keep their fingers crossed for me!
Thanks to all at VJ and good luck/speedy cases to everyone!!!

Oh... just wanted to add...
The man who interviewed me at Vancouver told me the wait times at Montreal are around a 6 month minimum.

APPROVED!!!
Sorry it took so long, I just got back from driving home from landing in Toronto!
Will right a review as soon as I have a chance. We're planning on going through POE tomorrow. :) :)

I *think* I'm ready! Heading out in a few hours to head to the airport to fly to Vancouver for my interview on Monday.... I'm nervous, praying that everything goes well... if so, I'll be heading down to MD on Friday!
WISH ME LUCK!!!

Ah... aren't most of the Duck players Canadians anyway?
-
WOOO HOOO DUCKS!!!
I'm a Canadian, but a leaf fan, so I've been rooting for the Ducks. Just because the Senators are from Canada doesn't mean I have to cheer them on. I hate the Sens!

My interview is scheduled at 1pm as well (on the 11th).
I read through the reviews for Vancouver and noticed that most of the interviews were at 10am, which got me wondering as well!

Hi y'all (I'm brushing up on my American )
I got a phone call from the embassy in Vancouver today (Is that normal). Asking if I was indeed going to show for my interview - the guy had no idea how I (an Ontarioian ) got an interview in Vancouver, and wanted to know if I was able to make it out. I told him my flight was already booked!
He also told me my interview had changed from 10am to 1pm - Can I expect to pick my visa up the same day, or will the later appointment date make it a next day kinda thing?
Thanks!

GO STACEY!!
Waiting anxiously for the review too!

I got the notice from NVC today....whoo hooo!!!
Wow....we could be married in as little as 8 weeks!! What would really be cool is if we could get his visa in time for our anniversary of our first date, 7/3/05......wishful thinking I'm sure.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
However I must let you know not make plans just yet in setting up a wedding date in 8 weeks unless it is just a religious ceremony and not a legal wedding as Montreal is running about 5 months behind from the time they receive Packet 3 to setting up the K1/K3 Visa interviews.
I was just going to say.... Unless you're going through Vancouver, 8 weeks might be a pipe dream. I'd be planning on closer to 8 months.

Thanks so much Misa!
So I don't need my xray? I'm flying and would LOVE not to have to worry that it's getting bent and ruined...
-
OF-167... nevermind!! I just found it. Fine print is easy to ignore!
-
Okay... one more question (I'm sure it's not the last one really...)
Affidavit of Support and signed OF-167 attachment (they will also ask for income tax returns and the W2 as supporting documentation)
Affidavit is the I-134 yes?
What the hell is the OF-167???? I don't see that one anywhere on the example forms or in my stack of various papers...
-
The best is my Canada Days in the US. I sit in my outdoor riding arena (which is sand... and beach like) in my bikini drinking beer all day! The local Americans think I'm out of my tree. I just tell them since there isn't a beach super close I make due with what I've got available!
-
the DS -156 is in fact what was previously known as the OF-156
interview is a piece of cake.......you'll be golden!
That's what I thought!! Thanks!
-
Stacey!! CONGRATS!! Make sure you come back and tells us how it went - I'm interviewing on June 11th.
-
Ahhhh!!!
Two weeks on the nose I'll be interviewing in Vancouver. Flight is booked and I THINK I'm ready...
Any tips/pointers? I've read through most of the embassy reviews...
Oh! Is the OF-156 the same form as DS-156? I keep seeing OF-156 but I don't have/can't find that form anywhere....

We do two Thanksgivings too! Although I call the American Thanksgiving "Happy American Turkey Murder Day"

I sent my AOS package complete about a month agao ... and found the check yesterday on my table... apparently it fell out of the packet before I sent it!!
What to do?
Do I send in the check seperately (And how do I reference it to the packet)
Do I resend everything?
AHHHH!!!
