I sent all required paperwork in (I-129F) . I just received my paperwork back today. They stated all signatures had to be originals, and to sign and resubmit. Ok, all signatures were originals signed in black ink as stated. Looking at my signature, it is the same color as the printer ink, buy NOT a copy. Will they accept my signature in blue ink? I don't know any other way to make ut look REAL. Thanks

no my sisters are not dependents and neither am I. I have a son, so I am fully independent of my dad. My dad's dependents are just my mom right now.

Thanks for wishing me good luck. I notice some on this forum have been saying the Manila Embassy doesn't take co sponsors. I think that is false. Like one person pointed out to many have been approved in Manila with co sponsors. Not to mention, all embassy have to abide by the Department of State rules. Thanks for your help

hello hmmm! good luck on your upcoming interview. well it really doesnt matter if you bring your NOA1 and NOA2. just bring it if it will make you feel more comfortable. the more ammo the better. just dont forget your appointment letter and the DS forms together with your pictures.

My Fiance didnt depart St. Lukes until 8:30pm on the first day. On the second day she was instructed to return at 1pm and didnt leave until 7pm. She was told to wait for her results then informed hours later that she has to wait for her results to be released because her sons medical was not completed because he needed a tuberculosis test. To do the test takes 3 days. This didnt work with her travel plans so she has to return to St Lukes next week to have him tested and then await the results. This will mean extra days in Manila before her interview is on November 8th. If there is one thing I have learned about this K1 process it is that you have to expect the unexpected. Also, it's much more costly and time consuming than I ever anticipated.

In my honest opinion, it is best to have the medical done at least 2-4 weeks earlier. That way, if ever your wife has some health problems, you have enough time to work it out. No delays, no hassles... and it's always good to have it done and over with so that you can focus on the upcoming interview. Think of the burdens and worries that will be lifted on both of you...

I just had my another test in SLEC. And they told me the result of my phsyciatrist evaluation result will be on Tuesday(its not sure yet), due to the long holidays this week And it take 2- 3 days for the result. So tuesday here not sure yet. But the doctor who examined me she will try to finished it by tuesday coz i told her my interview will be on wednesday. It still possible for SLEC to submit my medical to embassy if ever the result will be release on tuesday?? And my problem is my interview will be on wednesday already. It still possible for me to have my interview schedule even the result will come out on tuesday. Am trying to figure out things coz i already booked my hotel and am not sure if i might re-schedule my embassy appointment :crying:. But I informed the SCLEC people, ill be having my interview on wednesday but there telling me that they can re-schedule my embassy appointment if ever they cant release the result of my medical on tuesday. Anyone can help me and experienced.. Ill be glad to hear from you guys..

you can jst go to you scheduled interview but you will be on AR until thy get the results from SLEC...I suggest,,jst attend to your interview...

You will be in for a long wait again if you will reschedule it so better go ahead and be there on your appointment. But, you might as well anticipate some delays with your visa since USEM needs to have your medical results from SLEC, which will surely get there after the holidays' over. It's not so bad... Don't wear yourself out from too much worrying.

i doubt that. its better for you to wait for your result rather than to be put on AR. in AR you dont know how much waiting you have to wait for your visa but in re-scheduling your interview, you know or atleast have an idea when you will recieve your visa (well this is for my own opinion ) and besides its not that long if SLEC's the one that will have you re-scheduled

I guess in this circumstances being a long week of holidays, you would expect to see a lot of people at SLEC. It was still best to go for early medical, and in my hubby's case, he went there on a Tues, 10/23 at 12:30PM and was out by 4PM on his 1st day.

no. i doubt that its because of the long week holiday. maybe your SO just got lucky when he/she went to SLEC but jessel chris is right, now a days there's a lot of people at SLEC (i dont know why) but it seems a lot of people have schedule for appointment. so i suggest you follow jessel chris's advice. BE THERE AS EARLY AS YOU CAN! good luck

P.S. try to go to SLEC on wednesday or thursday rather than monday.

sorry to hear that. "if the result of your medical will be done on tuesday" then yes the USEM can have the result by wednesday. and if not (i hope not) then you will have to re-sched your interview, as what i know the SLEC have a new policy now that if they are the one who re-sched your interview then its only going to take like 2-3 weeks (that's what i heard from SLEC employees). hope everything turns out right! keep the faith and good luck

You posted on the wrong forum, but to answer your question: there is no definite answer. You can only look at the time lines here and draw your own conclusions based on empirical, statistical data.

If you get stuck in the FBI name check, you could be waiting for months on top of what you would normally expect, if not years, but that happens to very few people compared to the masses of green card applications.

Good luck to you hmmm... Just remind them that your interview will be on 11/7, to just make them aware so they won't prolong any other psychological tests, they might suggest for you (which I doubt so anyways)

not that im scaring you or something but just want you to be aware and be ready coz MOST PROBABLY they will let you have the psych test (not 100% sure). good luck

My brothers fiancee is at ST. Lukes now, her interview is nov.8 I told her to go ahead of time for the medical. She never got the packet yet, we looked it up online.

she can go ahead for the medical as long as she printed out her appointment letter and have called SLEC 1st for packet pick up.

Yes he did. They did not tell him anything and just took his passport. However they just had to replace the 2x2 photos he brought with him since they said they do not want a smiling face to be submitted with his medical. Don't know why???

I just had my medical already.. I was expecting to get the result today but for some reason i had to go back again for another day for Psychiatrist test i had to undergo.. I dont know why but during my physical exam the Doctor seen the scars of my slashed in my wrist .. And i told her the history of it.. That i had big problem back when i was in high school and i had suicide attempt yep was stupid that time... but that was 10 years ago. And today when i went back to get the result of my medical they told me to come back for phychiatrist test. Am just worried here if its goin to caused a problem for my interview or would it effect that i might not pass my medical exam? Anyone experience here before? I hope you can give me some information or knowledge regarding this issue

hi! when is your scheduled psychiatrict evaluation? when is your interview? hope your interview is not next week. this could take some time. and yes you have to undergo that test. sorry to hear that but dont worry. just explain it to them what happened before. then if im not mistaken you still have to go to psychological exam. it depends if the doctor will refer you to that exam. good luck and try to be calm. everything will be ok. but just have to be patient and have extra money with you. take care

NOTE: The above is an except from most recent Packet 4, which can be obtain electronically from the USE website. Maybe just having transcripts from the IRS will cover not having the W2s. However, I would think that it would be a good practice to at least provide the minimum requested (especially if it's spelled out in black and white). If I were the CO, I would put you on AR until the W2s are provided.
