We are doing the spousal visa I-130. Our interview is 11-30. Have you had your interview as of today???

I was wondering if anyone had any information on what questions they ask at the embassy for a spousal visa. 

Been waiting since April 2020 for our interview. So frustrating!!!!

Yes I am. Cr1 dq Jan 26th 2021. I know I just got dq but the more people from last year get interviews the faster I know my husband will come.

I didn't, and we were approved in April. My lawyer sent in a request to the embassy. Are u a spousal visa???

we got approved in April. Sent in all required documents to the NVC for them to coordinate with the embassy in Dakar and still haven't heard anything. 😫

Yes, all NVC steps are completed. just need our interview. I used a lawyer because it confused me, big time!

We are just waiting on our interview!!! Our petition got approved in April. This coronavirus really halted things for all of us.

We’ve been together several times. I’ve been here in Senegal, which I am now, for two week intervals at a time and this is my third time here, and I am coming again in August of this year.

Hi, thank you for responding. I am older, my husband is younger. 

Has anyone ever run into an issue in regards to an age difference with the whole spousal visa process. My spouse and I have a 10 year age difference and I am concerned that immigration will think our marriage is fake and not based off of love. I heard that the interviewers in Senegal are kinda rude and not easy to work with. Any help or answers would be great!!!!!

Oh okay. I thought in order to be valid I had to use my married name. Thank you for your input 

I am the USC. I just want it to be an easy process. I would like me to have my name changed for when I submit and petition for my husband to come in May. 

Hi Everyone,

I am legally married in Senegal and the U.S. Embassy said I shouldn't have an issue changing to my married name. Has anyone had any issues changing to their married names here in the states? I know I have to go to the Social Security office/registry of motor vehicles/bank accounts and what not, I am just hoping not to have any any issues.
