Right, I was just offered a job and now I am worried they might rescind the offer if I delay too long. I told the job it's taking like a month to send EADs but I am worried it may take even longer because EAD approvals are piling up. Maybe it's our fault for being eager to get back to work. I kind of wish USCIS did not notify me at all until they sent out the card. Manage expectations.

Yeah same here and it's such an incredibly stressful situation. but then again, how should we have known...

  2. Yeah, same issue here.

Our EAD got approved 6/22 and we haven't heard anything since.

What's even more frustrating is that I got a job offer in the meantime for a position I am supposed to start next Wednesday.

I applied after we got the EAD approval because nobody could know that it takes them more than three weeks to send out the card (especially after hearing from people that got theirs within 5 days.

Was your vaccination record ds.3025 fully completed overseas? And did you submit it ? Any medical issues that come up during the medical?

Yeah, indeed. We submitted the records and it was fully completed already. I even double checked my vaccinations with the USCIS requirements and they check out as well.

No medical issues did come up.

The USCIS rep told us to wait for the Interview instructions but obviously I just want to make sure we're not missing anything.

  4. Hi there,

We are currently in the AOS process following my K-1 visa.

A couple of days ago, I have received a I-693 deficiency note, saying that I did not submit the I-693 form (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Records).

Since I arrived on a K-1 visa, I did not have to submit the I-693 Form because I had my medical check done previously.

I also called the USCIS Rep Hotline but they were not really able to help us out either.

I'm pretty sure that I don't have to do the medical check again (since again, it had been done already) but we obviously just want to make sure.

Has anybody else had a similar situation and if so, what did you do?
