MSC us a national center just like NBC.
Most of CR1visa holder's file process from MSC/NBC. They send application to local office based on applicant's location for Interview. (Not everyone gets interview but most of)
Local office schedule interview based on work load.
Thanks for your response.
My online case status changed to Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview, so looks like we're one of the few who didn't get the interview waived.
Glad to see movement though.

Is there a reason why some applications are sent to MSC?
My local office is Charlotte, NC, so I was curious.

Woooow this was fast 🥳🥳 what is your center?
MSC. I've read a lot of people waiting 12+ months for the interview to be scheduled. I hope it doesn't take that long.

My biometrics was waived. My case status online changed to Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview. I guess this means our interview was not waived and we will need to wait for our interview to be scheduled. Boo.

We had a similar issue. We received an RFIE for my USC husband's proof of citizenship when we already sent them a copy of his birth certificate. Our lawyers were confused as well.
We just resent the same copy, with a copy of his passport, and didn't have any problem. -
Our interview is scheduled for September 24th, 8:30am

I'm very surprised that it's been moving quickly so far. My AoS process was no where near as fast.
I was a F-1 visa holder, then AoS, now RoC.
