Follow what the USCIS website states....can't get more updated than that.

Also, please ensure that you make the cheque out for the proper amount pertaining to what you are paying for.....for example, ensure filing fee plus biometrics fee is the total amount on the cheque and not filing fee only.

Noted on this mam. Please correct me for k1 aos, ead,ap application total of $1,225 on what to put on his cheque “memo” below.

Memo: my Name, filing fee and biometric services fee

    thank you!

Did she ever show the notice? I kinda like skipped through it but maybe I missed it. If she didn't then she's just making up a dramatic video for nothing. It wasn't about her check. Beside why use a check. Use a credit card. Get insant notification when they process it.

Thank you sir. But since I guess the “dollar” word made me realize that maybe it is the error on that check, i will just then follow what uscis’ site says which is payable to

    “U.S. Department of Homeland Security”

Are you sure the problem was the check?

Im not actually really sure sir but was confused on that stamp which too long and complete. So I’m trying to get some help here before I can make one hehe. Thank you 💕

  4. Hi Everyone! I would like to ask what’s the updated Name to put on Personal checks for filing fee payable to USCIS. I have seen a video from youtube that she puts on her check

“U.S. Department of Homeland Security” but it was rejected and stamped the right name for uscis which is “U.S. Department of Homeland Security Citizenship and Immigration Services”

need your help please. Thank you.

    filing from VA, Washington.

Okay, thanks. That is what I was thinking, but she is saying it is a government document. I will check and see if he is listed on the birth certificate.

All the visa applications have been approved. She is now scheduling her StLukes and Embassy interviews, however, she has been told by some authority in her small town (I don't know who) that they will not issue this 'mystery document' until she has the ticket to the US. According to the fiance', she was told this document is required to prevent 'child trafficking'....

Hi sir. Please refer to Sir Hank's response to my information. It will help you.

    Thank you.

Yes, 2 more waiting game (getting our docs back and CFO seminar) then we are good to go. All the stress and hardwork will definitely pay off. 🤗 When are you flying?

Yes, God is so good! After all the stresses we've been through. Finally. 😊😊😊

We are still undecided but probably it'll be on March 9 or 10. My cfo is on 8th. Hihi.

And you, mam? When is your flight?😊

The above needs to be read in context with local law.  Since local Philippines law grants sole custody to the mother, then this is not applicable in the Philippines

Thank you for the info. My apologies.

Obviously your lawyer isn't very up to speed with the process in the Philippines.

Only way a father's consent is needed is if he has been granted custody of the children by the court.   And as you know, if never married that is highly unlikely.   All other situations the mother has sole custody.

Embassy DOES NOT ask for a consent letter.

Thank you sir hank and my apologies. It will be a help for me in the future.

No... i just got approved from uscis. My petitioner and i never submit that letter only her birth certificate. Even my daughter has hee father bio surename in her birt certificate. As long as were not married before.

Me too, i got approved from uscis without my ex's letter. So I notified the consul on the day of my interview that i will just proceed with K1 only. And everything went well anyway.

Huh?????    Where is that listed ??

Embassy wants nothing from the father.

For travel nothing is needed from the father either.

    Mother has sole custody.

Oh yes! If it has court order of sole custody by mother, yes they don't need one. Please enlighten me sir regarding to this info below?

Apologies, I was asked by our lawyer if I will have k2. But as for now, we will just do it in the future so we didnt submit anything. But we were wondering as well because i got approved with k1 and k2 without her father's letter.

but most important the child is lusted when they filled the petition to USCIS

nbi is not needed for minor. Tell your buddy fiance to do some researc about k2

    Good lucck

Yes. And the petitioner needs to submit the letter from his Fiancée' s "ex" (which is the biological father) if he is listed/signed on child's birth cert too! That he will allow his daughter to go with her using k2 visa.

Yes, we can finally have a great sleep for sure!!!! Cant contain my happiness. As far as I know 2go collects all issued passorts/Visas every mon-fri at 5pm. Hopefully ours made the cut 😁

Hi mam, got an update from email or txt from 2go and ustraveldocs?

Yes, it did that right away. Well, when it went to AP. Hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about and it will switch tomorrow. My fiance is going a bit crazy with the waiting but we are hanging in there. It may change her travel plans but we have not booked the flight yet so will just need to adjust our expectations if things don't go as planned.

Well, then there's nothing to worry. Next to it is ISSUED soon! Once it turned into Non-immigrant, they said that it's gonna be okay soon! Yey!!

  13. 2 hours ago, Yetzky said:

Yeah, that's what I have read about 2go.

Did they tell you that we can just do that? If that's the case then we will just go there once we have our documents on hand. Btw, where will you get your seminar? Mine is March 5 in cebu.

Hi. I guess it would only apply here in Manila. But it is still first come, first serve basis for walk-ins based on their website. I'm not sure in Cebu sis.hihi.. . 🤗

  14. 1 hour ago, Hank_ said:

After ISSUED it can be another 1-2 days before the visa packages are ready for 2GO.

From ISSUED expect another 5-10 business days (no holidays or weekends) before receiving the visa package

Thank you for the infomation. Very helpful! 💗

Mine is for pick-up. Would it be earlier? Or the same as for delivery? Thank you. 😄
