Parents visas have been approved! Now they wait for their passport to be sent through DHL.

No unfortunately. they just rescheduled it.

Parents appointment was reschedule by the embassy Interview was set for July 2nd now they moved it to August 10th 🤦‍♀️

Thanks for responding! Do you need the health declaration form if you have never tested positive for COVID? I read on the CDC that you have to get that done if you can show proof that you received a positive test result. If you plan to travel internationally, you will need to get tested no more than 3 days before you travel by air into the United States (US) and show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight, or be prepared to show documentation of recovery (proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel). Can you get a test from any clinic or are there specific ones? Thank you for your help! My parents are having their interview on July 2nd so any information is greatly appreciated.

Has anyone from Peru traveled to the US recently? What was your experience with the COVID travel restrictions?

I did not know they could do that but I also heard that they can just attend the interview and they will not make a decision until they have received the medical results.

Yes, it's been a while since my case closed in NVC. It closed back on April 2020 so yeah a little bit more than a year. It's crazy how they notified me just yesterday about the interview date and their appointment is already in a week and a half. It gives them very little time to get their medical exams done.

My parents have received their appointment email finally! Appointment for July 2, 2021 at 8am. 😁
