You can make sure you have your police report ready and extra copies of everything you need.

Wait like 2 or 3 more weeks and then start trying to call the NVC. They'll give you 3 numbers (case #, beneficiary ID and invoice number) I filled out the DS-160 just to have it ready by the time the NVC completes my case.
