Is anyone familiar with this new policy about RFEs and NOIDs that came out Sep 2018?

Does it mean that petitions after Sep 11, 2018 wont get an RFE but a direct denial ?

Sounds very scary..... My PD is Sep 20 :(

Hi! WE got a RFE. We sent the documents last thursday and ot already updated today to response received. So I dont how much insight my case can give you.

    Hello friends.

I am beginning to get anxious now, our PD is 09/25/2018, and haven’t heard anything from uscis just yet. I see approvals from October and I am wondering if there could be something wrong. Anyone who has potomac’s service line or could advise us on what to do please? Thank you.

Today is day 148 😞 and we keep checking the mail and online and there’s no news.

Hi! We are PD 09/17 and still no approval. We have declared our case approved, God has all our approvals.

All September 2018 filers...hoping to get approvals soon for everybody. By the way, how did you guys (American Petitioners) file/will file tax returns? As single or married? What was your experience doing so, was it straightforward or complicated?

Hi!, we still haven't tackled that. I know if you want to do it jointly and she doesnt have a SS, you need to get an EIN for her o him and that takes from 4 to 6 weeks, so you would lose a lot of time in the filing. But it is all preference.

Anyone heard anything? we called yesterday and requested to speak to a Tier 2 specialist which told us our file was touched on 01/23 and that everything was good with out documentation, but that was all the information that we got.

I submitted my approval notice request on the 14th they gave me a deadline for an answer of the request on the 5th. I got the answer on the 25th of this month. I got the response via email. They set the following: "Our service records indicate your Approval Notice was mailed to the address on file and the notice was not returned as undeliverable by the post office.

In order for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to resend an Approval Notice that was not returned to our offices, it is necessary to complete a Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, along with the correct fees and original signature.  Please be sure to fill in your receipt number on Form I-824 in Part 3, Additional Information".

but I keep checking my status online it still says my case was just received, no approval. Which is why I question it

I think that if you have email proof that confirms your approval, your good, you just have to wait for NVC to receive your documents for you to start the NVC process. Also you could call USCIS Customer service for confirmation on this.

Thanks, I did it too. How did you Check the answer to your request. I have number of my request  but don't know where to track it. 🙈🙈🙈Or they just called you or sent the answer via e-mail? Thank you in advance for your help.

I sent mine and it gives you a deadline for response. I was checking on other forums for filers from August and July and that is how a lot of them are finding out they are approved. So fingers crossed. Immediately we get an answer will keep everyone posted.
