Did you file online or mail in? On the case status do you have an account so u can see the history not just the most recent update. Case Closed sounds like it was approved and moved to NVC. The email you put on the application for petitioner and beneficiary they should be checking for Case Creation email from NVC?
Did no approval letter come to address you put?

Moms case sounds like it's outside normal processing so you should be putting in a e-request to find out what's up.

    Applied - ONLINE (both applications)

For dad's case - he got the approval letter.

For Mom's case - NO UPDATE TILL NOW  and it is outside normal processing time. You mentioned putting in a e-request to find out what's up. Can i know how to do this? Thanks

  5. Hi, my friend applied I-130 for his mother and I helped him. Recently I also helped him for the USCIS RFE docs. But I am confused after sending those docs.  after replying / sending mail to the uscis (when uscis asked for request for evidence), can any one share your experience for the following questions:

    1. will USCIS send me any reply that they got my RFE  documents by mail which they requested to send to their address?

    2. how long it generally takes to get any response from USCIS

    3. what are the steps involved if USCIS asked for RFE

    Thanks

  6. Hi,  anybody has any idea what to do If someone receive the following type of letter  REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE from USCIS. One of my friend got this once he applied for his parent's I130. SPECIALLY the 2nd Part (Underlined and Italic from) I did not understand what to advice him.

    Thanks

In support of the claimed relationship, you submitted a copy of your birth document which does not reflect a date of registration that is contemporaneous with the birth. The registration occurred 43 years after your birth. As such, additional information and evidence are required regarding your birth to establish the claimed biological relationship with the beneficiary.

    Secondary Evidence

Provide secondary evidence of your birth. Evidence that was created contemporaneously with the birth will be deemed the most persuasive for establishing the claimed biological relationship. This evidence may include, but is not limited to:

    • Governmental, medical, religious, school, financial, employment, insurance or residential records that reflect the names of you and the beneficiary;
    • Family photographs with notations indicating the persons photographed, as well as the date and place they were taken; and
    • Correspondence, preferably with the original envelopes, showing the dates written and referring to you and the beneficiary.

In addition to the secondary evidence, provide the following evidence regarding the submitted birth document:

    • If there were any personal, societal or historical circumstances that prevented the birth from being contemporaneously registered, provide credible and probative evidence to corroborate those circumstances.
    • If evidence of the claimed biological relationship had been independently corroborated by the civil authorities prior to their issuance of the birth document, provide credible and probative evidence of that corroboration.
    • If the civil authorities required corroborative evidence of the claimed biological relationship, submit copies of such evidence.

You must’ve gotten a NOA1 from USCIS for your previous petition. That notification has the processing center location. You can also inquire at USCIS if you lost your NOA1, they can maybe inform you which center it was at.

I have NOA1 letter but it does not have that type of info. Here is the details

You should put in the processing center the previous petition was processed at.

any idea how to get that information. When I applied for my brother, I mailed my application to the following address:

    USCIS Dallas Lockbox

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS) deliveries:

    USCIS
    Attn: I-130
    P.O. Box 650264
    Dallas, TX 75265

If you know how to get that processing center can you also mention detail

  9. Hi, I applied my brother 2017 and now i am going to apply for my parents. So, for my dad in the i130, I put my brother's info which I applied before. So, I put my brother's info in name part and now what do I need to put in the City and State part. Is it means his country details or my mailing details or something else?

If anybody knows the detail, can you share so that I can complete the form and submit.

    Thanks

Not both Yes , read again .The question asked is Did you was fill petition for this beneficial ? (That’s mean did you fill sponsor for this person on this case) not your brother in 2017 .
on 6a. You fill your brother name and then relative 2 next ..

I just did for my Mom and sister. Hope that help

I am confused. My scenario is:

Applied my brother 2017. And now will apply for my dad and mum in 2020.

so, Can you check whether the following is correct?

    So, for my dad:

    1 - Yes

    2 -5 : my brother information

    5 - pending

    6 -7 : my mum's info

    and for  my mum:

    1 - Yes

    2 -5 : my brother information

    5 - pending

    6 -7 : my dad's info

    hi

he isn't filing for adjustment of status, so that question doesn't pertain to his petition

Okay. Thanks for the response. So, I will just put blank for those field. But after that another similar question is there. Will I also keep this blank or do i need some info to add.

Note: My dad is in INDIA now.

    hi

    both yes

you need to put your brother's information on the first one

and your other parent's name on the second one because it asks for separate petitions,

For question no 5, any suggestion? After my brother's I130 applied I got only FormI-797C, Notice of Action. Which mentioned the payment info and mentioned like the follow258572035_ScreenShot2019-12-29at9_03_39PM.thumb.png.d2b45aa4fa19411a424444eeddef3063.pnging picture. What type of info I can put for that field?

  13. Hi, I have some question to complete I130 for my father and mother. Can anybody please advice:

Question: 1 I applied I130 for my brother 2017 . Now, want to apply for my father and mother. What will be the answer of 1  6?  Do I need to put my brother information?

Question 2: I will apply online and both for my father and mother. Do I need to complete 6a-6c, 7?

    Please advice.

    Thanks

  14. Hi, I have a question of I-130's part 5-Other Information section.

Scenario: I applied I-130 for my brother, 1 month before and already got the priority date as Jan 04 2019. Now, I need to file I-130 for my parents.

Question: For my brother case, part 5 was empty as I applied first time for him.  Now, for my parent like for my mum What will be the proper way to complete the form of Part 5?

    Note: Part 5 screenshot attached.
