I am about to mail in my AOS application tomorrow. I am a little bit worried though because my husband has not filed his taxes for 2007 yet...he said the deadline is still around april anyway. So we are just sending his 2006 tax returns but with his 6 months latest paystubs.

Will I get a RFE for this?

I got confused too. I've read some saying copies are good and some say certified copy is the way to go. So just to be safe and just a matter of 13 bucks anyway, I'll just send out the certified copy.

Does she have health insurance? I got covered from husband's and was able to get the TD shot for free at Kaiser. Then I paid $35 to have my medical records transcribed to the I-693 which can only be done by a civil surgeon. But the immunization can be done by any physician or clinic. Try to look around from the list at USCIS. The rates of civil surgeons are very expensive. I called around here in San Francisco for more than 10 clinics and the price range are way too high. Good thing I was able to find a cheap one.

I got mine 2 months after the interview coz I encountered delays at the embassy aside from being on AR.

I went to SSA on February 7th to change my name (I already had SSN even before my K1 visa) and I was told to wait for about 2-4 weeks because they had to verify my status from immigration. I hope I get the card soon so I can change my name in my driver's license too.

Hi! We're also anticipating to file for our AOS this month. We're currently waiting for our marriage certificate to be released. Anyway, I believe you only need your latest tax returns so if your 2006 was fine, you should be ok. Good luck to the next process..
