I’m going to show you a few that I have found that did get more than one RFE. You case is a bit different from others. I wouldn’t be too alarmed by it. It could be what I don’t member if you mentioned but I have in fact seen it with a Jordan member too. Let me find it and send it to you.
Oh God I was really hoping we were given wrong information. I guess we gotta roll with the punches. Thanks Sue!

Possible, but most likely system is reflecting the original RFE.
Hoping this is the case

Hello, has anyone ever received multiple RFEs for their k1 visa (awaiting NOA2).
We sent out our RFE response on May 6. We wanted an update so we called USCIS today and we were told that they mailed out a request for evidence. Could it be that their system has not updated? Or are multiple RFEs possible?

Wow no one’s receiving instructions? Has anyone tried to ask places like Nahda regarding what we need to prepare/bring pre and for the interview?
I’m still waiting for NOA2 so I can’t help here
thanks for shining light on this topic Sue!

We got a RFE Do I update our timeline with the letter date or actual date it arrived in the mail? Also, should we expect this to be the only RFE or is it possible that we would respond and receive another one? Finally, it didn’t think our meeting evidence was sufficient so any guidance would be much appreciated!!!
I’m sorry to hear that! I suggest you start a new topic on here so others can specifically answer your questions.
I updated mine with the date on the RFE letter.
I believe we only get one chance for an RFE and after that it is either approved or rejected.
There are threads that specifically discuss lack of evidence, maybe you can search for those?
Good luck to you and I hope everything goes well!!

No "red ribbon" or apostille required. If they are not in English and are submitting to the uscis the need a English translation
Thank you so much for the quick reply!

Hello everyone,
If you submitted divorce papers from countries outside the US, did you have to get them authenticated/notarized by the Department of Foreign Affairs? Or did you translate and send them as is?
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. I got through on the Spanish line a couple days ago and while the rep was very pleasant, it wasn’t that helpful. She basically said my application is being processed and current wait time is 5 1/2 - 7 1/2 mos so file online if outside of that time. I saw that some Jan filers are already getting approved so I really don’t get this agency.
Yes waiting time is based on so many factors so all we have to do is wait. I actually received an RFE recently. Hoping you get an answer soon

We called yesterday and got the same answer, our NOA date is 15th November, they said everything is ok and still under process, if you don't hear anything call us back in few weeks, you still have 2 month for normal processing time..... sigh
Hoping we get an answer soon!

You almost gave me a coronary. To date, all the info I've gleaned from my 7 or 8 calls to the uscis... and $2.50... would get me a bottomless cup of coffee at IHOP.
Glad to see the uscis is still being all that it can be.
Lol that’s my bad. I guess we just have to be patient which I know can be challenging most days. Best of luck to you!

Standard canned answer. The website is saying 5.5 to 7.5 months. You are currently 5 months so you didn't get anything more insightful
You’re right. My eagerness has made me throw common sense right out the window lol. Anyways thank you for your response

Hello everyone,
My fiancé contacted USCIS today for our k1 case status. We got our NOA1 on Nov. 27. He was told that basically everything looks good and that we should get an answer in 2 months.
If you’ve been given an estimate, how accurate was it?

Well you know what. November for Jordan is getting approved like crazy. Chances are yours will get approved before mine. Somehow some petitions in September and October got stuck somewhere. Now mine is with an officer because technically I’m more than six months. But if you have not put any kind of inquiry you’re good. You’ll get your approval very soon. Good Luck to the both of us!! 🇯🇴 ❤️🙏🏼
Thanks for the information! Really helped with my nerves. All the best to you both! 🤗

Thank you!. He said that they completed it on 4/4. Yes middle east does take longer but my fiancé does not have a common name as I realize that some common names can take longer.
At least it’s cleared and ready for the next steps!
My fiancé and I are both from Middle Eastern. His name (the petitioner) is Ahmed middle name Mohammed. Hoping for the best lol
