  2. Hello Everyone;

    I received email from US Embassy about my K1 Fiance Visa. my visa Case updated 2 times in one week.

    Email of Embassy: (We have reviewed Department records and can that a consular officer suspended action on your immigrant visa case under section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act for administrative processing.  We will notify you when this process has completed and the case is ready to move forward.

    We continue to work to streamline the visa process where possible, while ensuring that applicants are both qualified for a visa and do not pose a security risk to the United States.  While we cannot predict when the processing of the visa will be completed, please be assured that the Embassy and the Department of State are aware of your concerns and will do all we can to see that the processing of the case is concluded as soon as possible. Please note that this is an important part of the process that can be neither waived nor expedited)

    Could anyone help me what that mean?

    When I put immigrant  visa on the CEAC website it says AP and when I put non immigrant visa it says when the case  was created  which was April and then no status ? My fiancé’s interview was In April and we have been in AP for 9 months.

    So am I near the finish line possibly or what do you mean by changing from immigrant to non immigrant ?

    Did they take your Fiance Original Passport at the End of Interview? and what they told you Fiance? and what kind of Card the Embassy give him/her at the End of Interview?

    It sounds like the DS-5535 (or whatever they call it...sometimes it isn't the exact form but asks for the same types of information to be submited).

    Unfortunately,  it tends to take on the scale of months when that is requested.

    Another post to read on the subject:

    Exactly i received the same form from US Embassy Kabul; they request my Travel History, Old Passport detail, Social Media, Phone #, Email ID, Working History, Family Detail, & so on. but as i share with you it is almost 23 days gone but my case status is not updated yet, it appear NO STATUS, I dont know whats going on? i have attached Additional Bio form for your information. Thanks again for your information

    It means they have additional processing to complete before making a final decision to issue the visa or not. Every case goes through some sort of AP. Usually it's days or weeks, but it can be months or more.

    If they didn't ask for any documents to be submitted, then it's just a waiting game.

    It's impossible to tell how long it will actually take. There may or may not be extended background checks involved.

    Best wishes.

    Thanks for your information.Yes they send me Additional Bio Form and i fill it and resend it to them on 5th December 2018. it is almost 23 days gone from my Interview date up to now but my Case appear in CEAC as No Status. What that mean?

  6. I had Interview in US Embassy Kabul on 2nd December 2018 for K-1 Fiance Visa, My Interview was very good, but at the End of Interview she give me Yellow Card and Marked Bellow Message:

    Your immigrant visa application needs further administrative processing. We cannot give you a definite date when the processing will be completed, and it will likely take several months or more. You can check your visa status online using your case number at the following website address https://ceac.state.gove/ceac/. It may take three or more weeks for your case to appear in this system. Note: In Some cases, your medical exam may expire before administrative processing is complete. If this occurs, you will be required to redo your medical exam. 24 December 2018, my Case Status Appear No Status.

    Could anyone guide me, when i will receive my Visa?
