Art Bell is a extremist republican - I only heard him a couple times when I couldn't get anybody else on the radio when driving. Not someone I would offer any condolences or help to - but he could ask Rush for help - birds of a feather.
You are not very well informed. He said on his show he voted for Obama. Also just for the record he is an independent not a republican.
I find it laughable that the words extremist and republican are joined whenever someone on the EXTREME Left attempts to "SCARE" someone with their rhetoric.

The famous late night radio talk show host is screwed. He married a filipina and had a baby. They lived here happily for 3 years. She traveled to her country and then they denied her app and wont allow return to the USA.

Art Bell's Wife Denied U.S. Visa
Airyn Bell, wife of radio talk show legend Art Bell, has been denied a U.S. Visa. Read about their incredible struggle against the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). [Click the image on the left for proof the USCIS received the necessary documents from the Bells.]
Please also help Art plead his wife's case. Contact the President and his staff at whitehouse.gov.
Here's the letter Art Bell wrote to Senator Harry Reid on behalf of his wife Airyn Bell:
My name is Arthur W. Bell. My Wife is Airyn R. Bell. We have been Married over (3) Years now and have a (2) Year old Daughter who was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. My Wife is Philippine. In December 2006 she was given a CR1 Visa which was processed by the American Embassy in Manila, Philippines. We arrived in Las Vegas Dec 26, 2006.
In Oct 2008 (Oct 10th, 2008) we sent USCIS a I-751 with evidence of our Marriage and the fee ($545.00). My Wife went to Las Vegas and did the Bio-Metric. We were given case Number WAC0900851515. In early January 2009 we received a notice from the California service center to send MORE evidence. Within a few days we responded with much more evidence, it was RECEIVED by USCIS on Jan 15th 2009 (See POSTAL RECEIPTS - click for enlargement). Then in early March we received a notice that USCIS had not received our additional evidence and moreover that there was NO appeal and it was case CLOSED! So of course I called USCIS and they told me to send the evidence that they in fact received our package in a timely fashion which I did. They returned a letter saying they were sorry and had sent us the wrong form response and that we should send them $575.00.00. That was all they requested, so that's all we sent. At this point we had already sent $545.00 (which was cashed) with the original application and I thought even though this sounded wrong, what the heck, rather than argue with USCIS I just sent the money. They returned the check saying it was incomplete, but that was all they had asked for, most of the responses from USCIS seemed to refer to other cases, not ours, but I was tired of fighting.
In both sets of evidence we included:
- Our Marriage License
- Our Daughter's Birth Certif.
- Our JOINT bank accounts (2)
- Health insurance
- Joint car registration
- My Last Will (With my Wife and Daughter as receiving sole benefits)
- Social Security paperwork for all of us.
- Pictures (Trips we have taken etc.)
- The (2) homes I own in Nevada, payed in full
- (2) signed (Notarized) statements from friends attesting that our marriage is indeed in good faith
- Many additional documents proving it is a real Marriage entered to in good faith and still healthy
Then we had to return to the Philippines because of Family concerns and property there. Prior to leaving we went to USCIS in Las Vegas and had my Wife's Passport stamped because her Conditional green Card had expired at the end of December 2008. They stamped it for another Year, they told us it was OK to travel, just be sure to get her Passport stamped.
So, we are now in the Philippines with this horrible mess behind us. We will be here until we get the Family issues resolved and decide what to do with the property we own (A Condo) here in Manila.
We left the U.S. on March 10, 2009.
I think of myself as a good American, however I do not feel as though I have been treated as one. Can you possibly help out in trying to untangle some of this mess? I have no idea what my Wife's status is currently and no idea what steps to take next. I have called the USCIS, I have faxed them, I have sent return receipt required letters, all with no response, or with a response that does not relate to our case.
We have now been told my Wife can not return to the U.S. Please see response from USCIS. This was the FINAL step before they were to issue her 10 Year GREEN CARD, now they want us to start a two Year process ALL OVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE. THIS IS JUST WRONG. Please help us, it may take direct legislative action because the following was received following a letter sent by a congressional aide:
=======================================
Thank you for contacting the Congressional Liaison Team within the California Service Center. Since the applicant is out of the country after the case was denied. The petitioner will need to start from filing the I-130 petition again for the beneficiary.
The reason for the denial was explained in the denial notice that your constituent received. The evidence was not received.
The applicant's status has been terminated at this point, and she will not be able to return to the United States using the stamps in her passport.
Sincerely,
Yining Wu
Adjudication Officer
Congressional Unit
DHS/USCIS/CSC
=======================================
As you can see, they say they did not receive the evidence, but in fact THEY DID. Does the truth even matter?
Yours Truly,
Arthur W. Bell & Airyn R. Bell

transfer where? for what purpose? University? local college?
Can she work as an xray tech in the USA? What is needed for her to do that job here? That was her job for 9 years in the Phils.

Well my wonderful wife received her green card Friday. What do we do now? Just wait or???

We had our GC interview today in LA and it took 20 minutes. We arrived an hour early and they took us in 30 minutes early. Our interviewer was nice. He was business like and asked a few questions from us together and separated. He asked how we met, what she cooked me for dinner, why I married outside my own race, if I thought she was honest about the marriage and not just trying to get into the USA, why she did not marry in Philippines, was this our 1st marriage, how we communicate with her English not so good, etc.
He then asked if we had any questions about the green card and process. He advised we would get the card in the mail in 90 days and that we had to reapply in the last 90 days of the 2 years window.
All in all it was a painless experience and did not give either of us cause for concern.

Also I am confused about i-693 medical form. Did I submit that with application as I dont have that.
-
The 797c notice states to bring documents unless already submitted. We submitted some of those docs with our application. Should I re-bring them to them?
Can I bring digital pictures on a data viewer or do I need actual prints? I have added my wife to our bank, credit cards, phone, utilities but I boneheaded it and forgot the mortgage. Its too late for the mortgage now. Will that be a big deal. We have bills with my/our address and her name on them.
Any advice for the Los Angeles office or for the general interview is very welcome.

We just got our interview date of Aug 08. There are ZERO updates online since we filed AOS. If you watch the website for touces its a waste of time. Everything that has happened on our case has not been reported to the online site.
As a side not we just had an infopass appointment and now we got our interview.
Can anyone suggest interview tips?

We made an app. to see someone in 2 days. Went in and found out all was OK and on track. Its nice to talk to people who can answer a question. The stupid people at uscis phone center are such a waste of time not to mention rude.
-
Im attempting to make an appointment. What are they asking for? --------> Receipt number
-
No touches since rfe sent in 6 mo's ago. Im not even sure they got it because they wont tell me when I call if they received it. I have a return receipt but they could easily say we never got that.
So who do I call to get more info? The uscis is not helpful at all. I guess I need infopass number?
-
We filed AOS Dec 1 07. Since that time we had bio and she got work permit. Nothing has happened after that. We have not been transferred to Calif. There are no touches online (not unusual to be behind on touches online).
Should I do something? I have read that some people use an info pass session to get the 411. Does anyone suggest this as a course of action?
-
He can deliver pizzas at night and flip burgers during the day and take a 3rd job on the weekends. Why is he so lazy?
-
We filed aos in dec07. We had our bio and she received her work permit. We got an rfe for a doc that was not signed/missing. We sent the signed doc back certified mail. They got the doc and signed for it.
I never got any notice from them the doc was received and that they were working on the case again. Nothing has happened since that time. Should we call them or? What is the number to call?
Yes, call them!
Let me be the first to say--------->
WHAT A HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE WASTE OF TIME IT IS TO CALL THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have NO INFORMATION on "THEIR" computer and cant tell you jack squat. Basically I know exactly what I knew before I called and talked to the *(&^%$$ people in the government.
-
how long has it been?
Since jan 08
Where do you see that your case was transferred? What web site?

My wife was approved 3+ months ago and we got a letter which extended her temp GC by 1 year. On the website it states we have not moved to card production and that we are still in post activity. Should I just apply for the N-400 and not worry about it? The N-400 does want a copy of her temp GC but it is expired. We do have the letter extending it but I can see that getting all SNAFU'd by the government and her getting declined and deported.
