how do i select the date for interview and medical exam now?

thanks for your answers, but the reason its confusing is because below is the update i received from ceac website.

I am sorry, but I am struggling in proceeding after NOA2. Received confirmation from NVC over a week ago and not able to forward. If anyone can help me by directing me to the correct links would be appreciated. I am getting confused with copy & paste response that I have received earlier.

My fiance has a child and I need to apply for a Visa application for her & her child who is 12 years of age. I have applied for PCC for my fiance already and should be getting it by the end of next week.

If I follow the page that is mentioned on the NVC letter to start the process it is taking me to the page to complete DS-160 which is NON Immigrant Visa, but as per my understanding fiance visa is Immigrant Visa.

Do I need to apply for the DS-160 and follow the link which is showing that it might take 75 minutes to complete the application.

Do I need to to the same for her child also?

Will the application give me the interview date for my fiance and her child the same date?

Anyway, it could either be that or that your fiancées residential address on the passport is different than her current residential address. One of the two. Yeah, they took her picture on Counter A.

But she didnt get her PCC the same day. They said they have to do the Police Inquiry from local police station as her Passport is more than a year old.

I just got approved less than a week ago and got our approval of NOA2.

I wanted to know if anyone has an answer to this and can help me that what documents are required by me & my fiancee in India to prepare now for the documents that I need to submit or take with us during the interview.

Edit: COs from some consulates go by the 125% level and others the 100% level for a K-1 visa.

 

The CO will make a decision on the public charge concern based upon a totality of the circumstances, not just minimums. There is no income level that guarantees success, but common sense is usually a good indicator.

 

As a self-employed individual, your current income is evidenced via your most recent year's tax return. Assuming you filed an extension, that would be your 2017 taxes. If you didn't file an extension, then you have no evidence of current income until you do file.

Now that is case dependent, I’ve heard that if you don’t require police verification for your residence address you will get it on the same day. However, if you do require police to go and check it can sightly delay the process depending on the police. But all in all it should take under a month.

Thank you. And let me tell you to wait to apply for PCC until you receive your case number. I rushed into it but thankfully you can reschedule/ cancel twice in a year. Anyway, the process is fairly simple just head to https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp  and follow the steps. First you have to register to their website and then just fill the needed information and it will direct you to the payment page. You gotta pay ₹500 and schedule an appointment date. That’s all!

Thanks to VJ for the helpful topics, because of which my USCIS has approved the case and has been sent to NVC.

I am trying to figure out, what is the income required on the Affidavit of Support. I am self employed. I haven't filed my taxes yet.

Any help would be appreciated!

Yes i replied to my RFE and they received it on May 1st, I got a NOA2 approval by US post  with action date of May 12th.

but USCIS status website, still says that my application was received on May 1st and USC will take further action ...... May be once it is moved to NVC , status may change.

How can there be so much difference. The USCIS Website is showing that the case is currently being worked on is for July 26, 2018
