Do you have an immigration lawyer? Did you email USEM or you just called their call center?

It was administrative processing after the interview. They received 221g docs and then turned to ready for interview (do your medical whatsover) a few days after. There were a few update on the date. And then on the 19th it changed to ready-follow interview sched by nvc. How about yours?

our case was different, ceac has always said "ready" ever since the file was sent to the embassy before and well after the interview some  months. Even during the AP it has always said "ready" however since the email a week and half ago requesting her passport for the visa the ceac site now shows "administrative processing" which is normal at this point then once they receive her passport it should go to "ready" then to "issued" or the other way around. 

Thank you! Hoping your fiancé/wife gets her visa soon. We're on month 2 of waiting. Case still stuck at ready.

The letter was sent 2 days ago in Hawaii to California Service Center. How long it will take to get notified that petition has been cancelled? How long is the process to cancel a k1 petition?

What does your ceac status say after your case was sent back to uscis?

so how does this work? drop this off at a courier location? do they give you a paper showing it was dropped off?

and at pickup , how to get your passport back from the embassy?

never done this before but my previous K1 was a lot smoother but that was 2005 , that was my ex leaving her passport at the time of interview and picking up 5 days later at the embassy

so im new to this drop off box stuff , so how does this process work?

Did your case stay at ready for interview for the longest time before ap?  My mom has been waiting too and is stuck at ready for interview. Thank you!

Anybody here approved a visa after waiting for a long time? My mom was given 221g for missing docs. She has been stuck at ready for 2 months now.

A waiver for a misrepresentation?  How long ago was that?  All I have ever heard of was reducing the ban length but I have never personally heard of a misrepresentation being completely forgiven.  I have only heard of 5 year and 10 year reductions from permanent.

It is a lifetime ban but waiver is available. You just have to file it thru USCIS. It takes more than a year for them to review (to deny or approve) the case. Once approved, applicant has to go through medical and interview again at the embassy of their country of origin. 

Mom still at ready status since they received her 221g docs on Nov. 5. Prior to that she was on AP. 

Hello.  I am new here. I petitioned my mom to join me in the US. She is in the Philippines. She had a prior misrepresentation and had a waiver approved for the latter.  She had her interview on Oct 23 and was asked to submit docs (Cenomar aka and nbi aka). USEM received docs on Nov. 5 and until now case is stuck on ready for interview. Anyone experiencing similar issue?

Did your parents-in-law receive their visa?  How long ago was the interview? Thanks
