I have nothing again
We didn’t have an RFE so it might be a little different, but at least you know they’re working on your case!! It’ll be so soon!!

Congratulations. When did you get a message from them? New site updated now?
The email and the website seemed to be simultaneous, the email said there was an update to our case and the website said we were approved! It was just updated this morning since I checked last night.

Approved, finally!
I received an email notification and it was updated on the new website. Old website and case tracker app aren’t updated. Our approval date was 4-09-19, and our NOA1 is 11-2-18 (received 10-29-18) thank you!!

I think she was referring to COMMON names. Common names will have an affect on processing times.
Thanks for the help! Sorry you’re still waiting Brandon, at least you can check in soon since the times went down. It’s definitely been frustrating seeing Decembers approved. USCIS just likes to move at its own pace

Would commonality of names cause a delay in processing? My fiancé has a very common name, so maybe I can blame this all on him. I guess sometimes it’s fun to guess what went wrong, plus it keeps me busy and off case tracker lol

Hello,
I had questions regarding the scrutiny of previous tax returns when doing the interview. I (petitioner) currently make 54,000 dollars a year. However, I have only been at my job for just under a year as I just finished my master’s degree. I didn’t know if this would negatively influence the officer or if we would be required to obtain a sponsor. I really wouldn’t want to put that responsibility on someone when I make more than enough, however, we do want to be safe and have the right documentation. Thank you.

Still nothing on our end. The background check thing is quite funny to me, I have had several checks due to my job that have all been passed. Obviously that probably doesn’t make a difference, but I wish it would speed me up lol!

Hi guys,
We are stuck between being late October and early November filers. (Petition was received on Oct.29 but we got our NOA1 on Nov 2.) We haven’t heard anything. No RFE, nothing. I know we’re technically in normal processing time but it’s still frustrating. Haven’t been thinking about it at all until now and now I’m worried haha.

Our file left the 14th for Sydney, and according to the DHL hack they signed for it on the 20th. However, the embassy is still telling my fiancé they don’t have it and our CEAC status still says “In Transit”. What could be the hold up? Feeling frustrated.
