Hi guys, got DQ mail 4th April and waiting for interview only to find out today from the CEAC site that a document was missing. AFTER CC? It is actually "final" divorce decree from previous marriage. Do you guys think this will cause another round wait? So pissed!

But the weird thing was, I didn't see all the details of my co sponsors as it used to display on CEAC but only that of mine and petitioner.

OMG I had the same thing happened to us. We got an RFE on March 6th.
I resubmitted my tax transcripts on March 15th then on the 27th I got an email to check CEAC and there was nothing either! No new messages, and everything shows as “submitted”.
I called them and they told me to ignore that email, that it was sent by error and to just wait. I was told that it can take up to 3 weeks which for us will be tomorrow. I was also told that if by Monday April 8th still nothing then I needed to call back so a supervisor can escalate it.
I hate this!
Thank God. So finally we got the long awaited documentarily qualified email. What an exhausting journey it was. After getting empty notifications twice. Yours on its way!

All of the rfe responded to still say "submitted". Since 8th of march. Got notification 13th march, nothing was there, got another 1st April, nothing was there...

Anyone who has submitted on 3/21 got any updates? CC? RFE? anything anyone yet.. ? cant hold up with the suspense 😨
Frustrating. We responded to an RFE on the 8th of march, got a notification email from NVC to check CEAC, there was nothing there. Again Monday 1st April, got another email notification from NVC to check CEAC, there was still nothing. This is weird. Anyone with any clues please?

NVC collects copies of your documents and checks for completeness and 'genuineness' (for instance did you submit a copy of current format of birth certificate or old format of birth certificate -obviously they will want the new format).
The real (original) copies will be examined by the Embassy for genuineness (for instance is the actual copy of the new format birth certificate real or fake). Think of NVC as a pass through to USEM; NVC just does the first leg and the USEM does second leg.

Thanks a bunch. Now I get. The wait will worth it in the end.

The documents are checked and verified by NVC. The embassy will eventually verify the original records too. Unfortunately, the suspense is part of the game.
Thanks Nitra30 for the usual swift response. I wish you are an NVC official, the wait may not be this long 😊.
So you mean NVC stage is where documents are checked for genuineness etc? Wow, I wonder how they are able to do that across the globe. No wonder the annoying delays.🤔

Hello guys,
Just curious....please what exactly happens at NVC that causes the delays? Is that where documents are verified or at the Embassy stage? Cos this suspense can be so depressing.
Thanks for the enlightenment.

Mine used to do that too and I called NVC to see if anything was missing and they stated that it wasnt..that system is funny acting
Did the "funny acting" lead to cc though? Lol

And you didn't see any new message within CEAC?
No, I didn't see any message despite a mail saying there was an update. The requested items still show "submitted"

So many people that submitted on 8th either got a RFe or case close on Friday
Oh ok. Thanks a lot. Will look forward to it.

They reviewed 8th of March on Friday. Don't worry you will hear from them today
Thanks for the encouragement. Be blessed. Please how did you know about such reviews? Just curious!

Hi guys,
After about 4 rfp, finally got the last request sorted two weeks ago. Now, we got the usual mail from nvc saying there's an update, only for us to check, there was nothing different apart from "submitted". We were expecting nothing but a cc. Please what could be up?
By the way, I'm for IR1, got into NVC since August 2018.
Thanks people
