last November 13 I received an email from NVC telling me that our petition application was sent to US EMBASSY JERUSALEM and I checked online our application was in transit. while waiting for our application petition to be ready can i fillout ds-160 and pay the application fee and scheduling an interview and medical?

Thanks! I was just a little worried since one visa is so close to the other. When he applied for the b2 we had no intention of getting married! Hopefully we are able to get the k1...I just finished completing the form and compiling pictures and proof of relationship.
