Our lawyer told us we could not schedule the medical appt until we had received an interview date, but this is the third or fourth example I’ve seen recently where medical is scheduled before the interview is assigned, so now I’m worried we’ve wasted the time since we were documentarily qualified. Does anyone know if we are delaying our interview by not booking medical yet?

    PS, congrats KayMFrench!

It could be different for you than it is for me due to mine being expedited, but I truly do not know. We were told our medical had to be booked prior to making an appointment to ensure that the documents from the medical reach the embassy in time so we were not delayed.

Yes, I know, I checked the processing times on USCIS website. I was just wishing to hear that somebody from Nebraska got approved. I sent my documents from Florida I don’t know why they are in Nebraska.

Are you waiting for your I-130 to be approved also? When did you file? And if it has been approved how long did you wait?

Thanks for your response and for your help.

I believe the last time I saw, approvals were being given to people with a June priority date for Nebraska.

I'm no longer waiting for my NOA2. I had Potomac as my service center. My PD was Nov 16, 2018. I waited 7 months then was granted an expedite at NVC

So my application is already at Embassy.

    Hello

I am an US Citizen living in USA waiting for my husband’s I-130 Approval (he is overseas)

We filed last week of October 2018. After a week we got the receipt. Our case date is November 5, 2018 and it is at the Nebraska office. We have been waiting for 9 months, today.

Is anybody here from Nebraska office that file on November 2018 and has received letter of Approval of I-130?

    Thanks

Nebraska, as far as I am aware, is the slowest processing center. The current wait time for NOA2 is up to 15 months. I doubt you'll be hearing anything soon unfortunately. :/

    Congrats. Did you expedite?

If so, did you get an email saying they are reviewing your request to expedite. I got that email a week ago and no update since.

Yes, I expedited. I actually got the approval notice shortly after I posted that I got my NVC number. My case has been sent directly to Embassy. And yes, it took about a week or so to hear back on the decision.

Pls I need to clear this from my mind. Please I need advise and I don’t know if that is why USCIS has not approve me.. So I got my Divorce Decree on the 26 of sept and got marry on the 27 of same month of September( a day after my divorce came through I marry my present husband) my fear is this, will the USCIS feel is too close and denial me or it does not matter as long as I already have my divorce? Pls any respond we be very appreciate. Thank you

Your processing center is Nebraska. They are VERY slow. The USCIS website shows that there is a 10-13 month wait. Most of the people I have seen, who have Nebraska, usually have been over 11 months of waiting before approval. You have nothing to worry about, just try and be patient and wait for your NOA2. I know its much easier said than done. :( Good luck.

  6. I contacted USCIS about my case yesterday to no avail.

It is still considered within the "normal" processing time, which I already knew.

I just don't understand why my case is still pending and many others who have a PD after mine have already been approved.

I feel like I am going out of my mind with this process.

I have another two months to wait before I can contact USCIS again. 😓
