It’s safe to assume that any welfare or disability payments and benefits you receive here in the US will not apply to you in Canada. Whether you will qualify for Canadian welfare will depend on the rules there regarding immigrants and accessing public funds. You might not be able to claim anything there. With a child on the way you might have to get a job to support your family.
