    Hi Everyone,

    I have a quick question to ask. Please I have been following this trend for a while. I have seen people got approved after their local offices requested for their Medicals. I filed my case back in October 2018, and it has by grace come to the point when my Local Office requested for Medicals. My lawyer said I shouldn’t do the Medicals until an interview date has been stipulated. This is kinda bothering me.

     

    Can I defy my lawyers advice and just do the Medicals and send to the local office by myself ( My lawyer submitted a G-20 form)

     

    or should I wait till the interview date is sent like my lawyer said.

      Hi, if you must submit the i693, be sure to have another at hand to give to the officer physically at your interview if there will be an interview. Have two original copies sealed as requested..submit one and go with one. Or wait for an interview date then give it to the officer physically.👍

    stillwinning I got married Feb of 2019, but I knew him since 2015. I became a victim of abuse since we moved in our his new house. We were scheduled for the interview Feb 27 2020, but he withdrawn the petition, never had the chance to have a green card. Now, I have supporting documents of my marriage in good faith, one of the very important  evidences is the witness of abuse. I only have one witness to the abuse. My 19 year old son also witness the abuse made by my husband. Now, one witness is not strong enough to win a vawa case, can my son be a witness too? Since I am not an extrovert person, My only witness is our pastor.
