Yes, I am leaving this afternoon. Mary has internet access so I may be able to check in and update for all the new NOA2's tonight or tomorrow. But we'll be gone for most of the weekend with no access. I sure hope January has a record week and February gets moving along as well.

The beneficiary's country DOES come into play at this point - mainly because DHS does database checks on both the USC and the non USC (check Huskerkiev's posts for info on that). So I'm sure that its more likely to get a name 'hit' in a search if you're from a country like Iran or Pakistan (as opposed to Canada or the UK) - thus it takes longer for them to research and resolve the 'hit'.

I found that odd about the Cuba filers, too. The only thing I thought is maybe their consular portion takes a looong time so they try to get those through first?

Not sure if that is so much the case, because the VJ 'record holder on receiving NOA2 (rebex05, I believe) already has their interview scheduled....or maybe they already passed the interview. I remember seeing a recent post inquiring about best way to pay for plane tickets, citing the difficulty in wiring $$ to Cuba. The only other theory is that Cuba's govt. being what it is (and the US's political stance being the opposite)....perhaps we're only to happy to approve anyone wanting to get out from there legally? Dunno...just a thought.

well, it's 10:33am at csc...i imagine they are all just strolling into work from a nice morning set on the waves...having coffee, yakin' about the weekend, maybe some of them are still hungover and can't wait to get to thier desks and take a nap...WAKE UP AND GET TO WORK CSC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jan. filers with noa2's from 3.26.07 to 4.15.07 = 30 each at 81 day average

jan. filers with noa2's from 4.16.07 to 4.27.07 = 17 each at 92 day average

hopefully with the priority h-1b's completed, i think, they will be able to shave down that average # of days...

omg...i'm here's i'm looking at the numbers, not including evan and dave at 55 days:

jan. filers with noa2 dates from 3.26.07 - 4.15.07 - 30 noa2's, avg # of days = 81 days

jan. filers with noa2 dates from 4.16.07 - 4.27.07 - 17 noa2's, avg # of days = 92 days

Got another touch today! Two days in a row. Hope that means something good!

We are in the process of shipping everything from Munich, Germany to Seattle and our house is a disaster zone. The movers show up tomorrow morning at 8 am to load the container. Really want my Sweetie to come home to some good news after all the stress of waiting and packing and planning a wedding.

Its gonna suck being separate for 2 months or more. We have never been apart more then 2 weeks!
