  1. thank you yuanddan!!! your awesome! have a great weekend!!!

The medical record is already at USCIS, the POE at JFK sent it to them.

For K-Visas all you need is to get is the vaccination record transfered to a supplement by the civil surgeon not a full medical, if visa medical is less than a year ago.

If you don't have a vaccination record, you will need to get vaccinated for:

    • Mumps, Measles, Rubella or MMR
    • Tetanus and diptheria toxoids
    • Varicella
The civil surgeon transfered my wifes shot record from her vaccination book to a supplement for $35 after I insisted that all we needed was the I-693A supplement per I-485 directions. (I showed him page 3 and pointed out paragraph 8)

    8. Fiancé(e)s.

If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.

  2. Stevo,

Looks like my Anya and your Maryna have the exact same interview date.

Are you traveling to Ukraine for the interview?

I was going to, however I have rescheduled to fly to her when she already has the Visa in hand. So sometime during the first week of August.

    Regards,

    T.

yep, next monday, the 16th...she'll be coming in very early as her train gets in early...best of luck to both you...only thing i'm worried about is lack of evidence of on-going relation...of we write and talk to eachother on the phone everyday...but, i only visited once over the xmas holiday...

i am not going over for the interview...have to work, so...from what i've read...seems like a things go pretty well there at the embassy in kiev...we booked her flight for 15th of august...delta fight 89 into jfk, and then here to austin...20 hours total....like $1,400...

heard anything on getting passport stamped with 'authorization to work'???

  3. here's the deal...left nvc. e-mailed a week later to ask if they've received, that we all have required docs and can we schedule interview...got a reply about 7 hours later...they said they got case and if we had all docs, call the Call Center for interview...maryna called, and they said they didn't have anything...she called a little later, and they said they didn't have anything with her name and KEV#...we have an e-mail from them saying to schedule!!!, with packet 3/4 attached!!!, from the u.s.embassy!!!, saying they have our case and to call?!?!?!?!? we call, and they say nyet! #######!!! should she bribe them??? any advice??? getting a little nervous with all the termoil over there right now.........

  4. geez. i can't believe it...nvc mailed our info to kiev on the 16th!!! we now have our new case number KEVXXXXXXXXXX...no e-mails from our noa1 to our noa2...nothing, nada...the only time uscis has contacted me was when we got our noa1 in the mail...

now all we are waiting for is maryna to get her police certificate from london...she had a medical done in sumy a month ago, just to have some peace of mind until she has to get the "real" medical done in kiev...and all is good there...we downloaded packets 3 and 4 from our embassy website, and so all that is ready...next week i'll e-mail and call the embassy to see where we stand and when to schedule the interview...OMG, it's all coming together!!!

You know that you must phone the call center to schedule the interview as the embassy does not do it anymore.

da! thx for the reminder...when do i call???

  5. geez. i can't believe it...nvc mailed our info to kiev on the 16th!!! we now have our new case number KEVXXXXXXXXXX...no e-mails from our noa1 to our noa2...nothing, nada...the only time uscis has contacted me was when we got our noa1 in the mail...

  6. Congrats!!! Can I ask what you said when you called about the "RFE"? I called the address # change and didnt get anything... Also can you rub some of your good luck this way???

absolutly...follow the prompts to get to case status/rfe...took 3 or 4 minutes for someone to pick-up...i told him the truth...that our petition had been scanned on the 8th and i had not received any info since, and i stated that i was inquiring about a possible rfe...the way i worded it was a little confusing...just hoping he would input our receipt number and see what would pop-up...he just said, "your petition was approved on the 7th", and i immdiately asked, "when was it mailed to the nvc?"...and he said it was mailed on the 10th...wahoo!!!!!

  7. starting reading some of the threads about people calling...we were touched on the 8th, and nothing had been updates since...so i called...inquiring about an rfe...and sure enough, we were approved on the 7th...mailed off to the nvc on the 10th...thanks you to everyone for their support and help...and best wishes to all of you!!!

  8. I've also noticed that. It would not surprise me if many people drift away from this site as they get busy with the final stages of this process. My guess is they never come back to complete the timelines. On the other hand, many November filers are still waiting for their interview. It's just that we can't be sure about the accuracy of the numbers...

Yeah you do get busy compiling all the papers on this side and on the fiances side. Well we are January 3rd flyers out of Bucharest Romania and the interview is next Monday!!! So wish us luck.

    best of luck!!!

  9. thank you, thank you very much......now, that i think about it...if i would've known that i had been touched last tuesday, i would have gone completely bizerk by now...

i am curious...from a couple of the rfe's that i've looked at...seems they get touched, and then soon after that the rfe comes...hopefully since it has been a week since the last touch, they can't find anything wrong with the petition...God i hope my adjudicator is happy, in a good mood, perhaps their SO has been specially good to them...has a good breakfast...all the green lights to work in la manana manana... :)

  10. are they working over there??? has anything happenned in that place??? have they forgotton what they are supposed to be doing??? csc=labotomy central...................geez, i am going nucking futs over here already!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry folks, but i am losing it and starting to get....well, you know what i mean..................
