  2. I just had my biometrics last Mar. 1 and i received the biometrics appointment for both coz i applied for AOS and EAD at the same time too. Hope this helps.

I applied for both EAD and AOS at the same time.

As I know they are different cases, should I expect to receive a notice for Biometrics regarding my EAD case and another one for my AOS case?

    Thanks

  3. Hi guys. This is not in any way related to immigration issues but i just needed somebody to translate this words for me

    TOUS LESS AUTRES POINTS ARRIERE

My crosstich guide made a mistake and this part was not translated in English. I thought i used this site lol. Thanks a lot.

  4. I just had my biometrics today, 03.01.07 at St. Louis, Missouri. We left Illinois at 7am and got to STL at 9am, my appointment was scheduled at 10am. So we went first to The Gateway Arch and took some pics and went to the Museum. Afterwards, we went looking for the USCIS STL. I got there at 1015am. It was good there were only 3 people waiting in line and they were not really strict with the time. So i went to the counter and the lady gave me a form to fill up and when i was done filling that up, i gave the form back and i gave her my state id. We only waited for 5 minutes and it was my turn for fingerprinting and picture taking. I think it only lasted 5 mins. The lady who took my biometrics was very nice and we had little talk about the hail storm we just experiened getting out of the Museum. And she said, i will get my work permit in 30 or more days. All in all, our day was very good. My husband and I did some shopping and dined at St. Louis Union Station Mall.

  5. Dont give up, just file again. I dont know what happened why they revoked your petition but in our case my bf then filed the petition before we met in person thats why it was disapproved. So when you are sure you met all the requirements, just file again. Because if you waited for that petition or you appealed that petition, you will be waiting in vain. Its better to file again. In our case, it just took less than 4 months for USCIS to approve the 2nd petition we filed. And guess what, we didnt hear anything on the 1st one. Its still pending. But better yet, use a lawyer this time to be sure. Good luck!

I , the us citizen, sponcered my fiance for a k-1 visa and it was revoked in october. Nothing has worked out for us and have decided maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Anyway my question is if i ever decide to do this again for another how long do i have to wait before i can send in another petition for somebody else? Dont have anybody in mind just curious. Our case is not close yet it just made it back to california service center. When would the date begin? When i sent out the petition in January of 2006? Or when the case gets close? Thanks
  6. I would recommend that you meet your fiancee first before you file. There is no way you can get approved if you didnt meet the meeting requirement like what happened to us. Although my fiance-now-my husband reappealed in June 2005, its still pending. Its good we just redid the I129F all over again coz if we waited for the decision on the appeal,we would get too old. There is no way USCIS will approve you eventhough you give them any reason, that just what I think. Goodluck to you.

  7. Hi! I want to help you but there's not much info about you or your timeline. I dont know if your fiancee has filed the I-129F or if u have submitted the requirements yet. Is your hometown very far from Manila? If everything goes fine with your fiancee's petition, it could be approved in 6 months or less. And once you gets approved you have to be in Manila for the medical and interview. Can u just wait for another year or less or u really want to go home? I know family is important. But this is your decision to make. The most important thing is if its already filed and your fiancee moves to another address, he should just notify the USCIS in changing address. I hope i helped you and if i confuse you more I'm sorry.

    Hi everyone,

I'm concerned with my situation. I'm currently in Manila working but I wanna go back to my hometown when I turn 1 yr from my current job which will be on July. I'm planning to resign and go home by August 07. Will it delay paperworks if my address will be changed? I really wanna go home since I'm not happy staying here and I think I'll lose my mind. My fiance is worried coz he said it might delay things. What do you all think?

  8. Hi there.

My TB skin test was positive when i had my medical exam last Dec. 2006 which i needed for my AOS/EAD application. I already mailed my AOS/EAD application. Anyway, my physician did everything for the exam (blood test,x-ray and physical exam) but he referred me to a bi-county clinic for the immunizations and tb test coz its a lot cheaper there. So when i had my tb skin test it turned out positive coz i have been to the Philippines where TB is common but controlled and i had been exposed to the virus although my grandmother died from it 20 years ago. So i have latent TB which is not infectious but will always give me a positive skin test. My chest x-ray was negitive though. I know it would be negative coz i used to work for a bank back home and we had x-rays every year. Right now, I am under medications for 9 months. The medicine is free c/o the bi-county clinic and i have to get a refill every month and have my blood tested for reaction. So far i have been taking it for 2 months. The only effect it had on me is that i always feel hungry hehehehe. My physician just waited for my medication to start and then he sent out the papers i need for my medical. So dont worry if its positive. But share us your experience when you are done with it. Good luck.

  9. I didnt apply for AP coz it will probably in 2009 before we come back home. I went to the nearest embassy website and it says there that they renew EXPIRED visa. Mine will yet to expire in Sept. 2007. I dont know if i have to get it now or wait before it expire which is probably by Aug. And i dont know if i need a new passport before my AOS/EAD gets approved.

You do not mention applying for AP?

When do you want to travel.

How long does your Embassy take to renew a passport.

  10. Hi All!

I posted this question last night but only one replied. Probably a lot was watching the superbowl hehehe.

I mailed my AOS/EAD application today. It seems that it takes USCIS 6 or more months to process such application. However, my passport will expire on Sept. 2007. My questions are : how soon do i need to renew my passport and would i need a passport once the EAD/AOS arrives. Thanks in advance. :help:
