If this is the 1st petition/affidavit of support you are filing, you should just write "None" for that question.
thank you. But technically haven't I submitted an affidavit before?

I am filling out the I-134 form and I am confused on this question:
Part 3 question 22a:
I have previously submitted affidavit of support for the following person:
name:
date: ?
what would the date be? interview date?
(This is the first petition I have ever submitted, however im not sure if this is referencing the affidavit that was submitted at the interview stage?)
Thank you for the help!

Thank you for this information! The petition is already in "ready" so we will just keep waiting for the interview

Hello Everyone,
The consulate received my petition about 2 weeks ago and I have been emailing them to request an interview and have been getting the same long automated responses. However, today they emailed me this message:
"Thank you for your email. We are interviewing K1 cases in the order that we receive them. Due to the volume of K1 cases, we are several months behind. We will notify you when your case is next in line. Please be assured that we will interview all applicants, even if their petition has expired."
Regards,
Immigrant Visa Unit, U.S. Consulate General

Also, there was a paperclip attachment to the email but I am unable to see if anything is attached. I am just looking for other peoples experiences with what the format of the email looks like when you've gotten your interview date. Any insight would be appreciated!

Q1. There is a very good chance you will be on the shipments that leave NVC tomorrow. But, no one can guarantee this. I have directions of what happens on the first page of this thread the first post.
Q2. "Ready" is not for "ready for next shipment". It's "ready" and is set by the embassy when THEY are ready for the beneficiary to begin their steps for the interview. Again, first page, first post for more information.
Okay, I think I misunderstood "ready"
Thank you for the reply, I will read the information on the first page again!

Hello Everyone!
I'm looking for some opinions... NVC assigned my case number on April 23rd, 2019. Do you think that is in time for the April 30th shipment? Also,
when tracking my case the status is ''At NVC" should this of changed to "ready" to be on the next shipment? Thank you!

For what it's worth my attorney advised me to have evidence for the entire period of our relationship after filing.....We included periodic screen shots of chats throughout the year our case was processing...along with birthday cards, etc....
Thank you for the tips.

@Adil & Jeanne Thank you for your advice. We will start scrolling through the chat logs to start getting screenshots as soon as possible.

Hey everyone,
I am in the process of gathering evidence to file for a CR1 visa. I have a question regarding the evidence portion and chat logs. We met in person in June 2017 and continued our relationship through social media messages, text messages and of course FaceTime. Throughout this time we have screenshotted a lot of FaceTime calls but they are the 'live' photos so not necessarily proof of Facetiming. Just for more insight on our relationship, our families are meeting before we file and we will have other evidence/proof besides just messages. My question is do we need to scroll back to June 2017 to our very first messages or can we start screenshooting the chats now? We plan to file for the visa in the summer of 2019.
Thank you for any suggestion on how to strengthen our case!
