    In an effort to try and expose as little of my stupidity as possible....my fiancée...came to the US... for 30 days...and something came up, and she went home....without us getting married.

    Now in hind sight, we should have gotten married first... :(

    Well....I believe K-1 is only good for one entry …. right?  Cuz we would have had until about Dec 20th.

     

    So rather than do another K-1... it seems the CR1 is the proper way to go... But I simply don't have to time...to spend 2.5-3 weeks in the Phils.

    I think I know the answer....

    But a K-1 visa....is only good for one entry....no matter what...right?

     

    Something came up...and she went back.... We are still within the 90 day window.... Is there any way...to get her back here....other than starting over?

      Process would take roughly a year.  Plus side is she will receive her green card upon entry into the USA, no need for AOS like with the K-1.

      OK thanks....

       

       a while back....I looked into getting married in the Phil's....but it has been a long time.... let me know if this sounds right:

       

      Stop at US embassy....get document saying...available to marry....

       

      Goto Seminar....

       

      Then can get married at justice of the peace???

       

      For some reason....I was thinking...that process would take me two weeks....(I don't remember why....if there was some waiting period...or what?)

       

      The reason I ask....is I have started a new job....and time off...will be hard to come by.... so I need to make a quickie trip to get married.... Can I do all that...in a week?

      Hehe....I looked into getting married in the Phil's..... it looks like no way to do....in under two weeks... :( 

      That is gonna be really tough...with a new job....

      What about....flying her to a country...where Filipina's can go...without a visa?

      Is there a close country....where we can do....a 'Vegas' type wedding?  Hehhee….

      I am really gonna have a difficult time...getting 2+ weeks off.
