Ever since, we have been getting emails like once a month saying they have not done anything with our case. So we have yet to have an interview scheduled! If anyone has any questions or needs help with their application or anything in the process, let me know! I would be happy to help! It can be intimidating, but I did everything myself WITHOUT a lawyer! You really don't have to waste the money. :) Good luck to all!!

  5. 26 minutes ago, poh said:

Lucky you got a RFIE. after Sept 11, case gets denied without notice.   Luckily, i followed my gut instinct and  waited to file mine after I filed my 2017 taxes.    Everyone should consider front-loading your application and send everything you can think of not expect USCIS to be so lenient.  It seems if you are an immigrant you are not welcome here.

I am American and I filed for my Dutch Husband.

Anyone who has gone this far in the process doesn't expect USCIS to be "lenient".

You are welcome if you go the legal route and don't have anything to hide.

  6. Update on our case..

                       I-797 AOS processing letter

Feb 28th - Biometrics Apt Letter
    March 5th - Biometrics Appointment

July 26th - RFIE Letter for 2017 tax return (didn't file before mailing in packet because I thought it would process faster.. silly me)

Aug 1st - Response for Request for Evidence received

Still waiting.. the slip didn't say anything about a time reset, I am praying that is not the case. This is so stressful.

  7. Well we got an RFE in the mail yesterday asking for my 2017 tax return. Obviously I sent our AOS packet before I filed my taxes this year, so no biggy! Just sent our response back in the mail today. The officer assigned to our case is in Missouri. I am hoping once they receive the info, it won't take long after to get approved! Fingers crossed! Congrats to all the other Feb filers who have heard some good news!! Take care everybody..
