I’ve been up all night, none of my paperwork regarding my divorce has any judges signature on it. Neither does my ex husbands and he is re married!! Surely you and  I can’t be the only two couples from the UK applying for a visa that has been divorced — so they must have come across this before.

I’m really hoping someone can help me! We received our RFE on the 15th Oct and came it in the post today. They want a cooy of my decree absolute with a judges signature. I am from the UK - I could have sworn we sent them the decree absolute but it does not have a judges signature on it...anywhere, it just says the basic stuff then the marriage was dissolved on the 1st July 2016. At the very bottom of the page it does say insmall writing decree absolute. 

I don’t know what else to send them. Has anyone else every come across this problem and if so, how do I rectify it?

i don't know the answer to that but but I am very interested to know also. I keep looking at dates and worry that potentially nearly two weeks could be lost during that Christmas/New Year period.

Has as anyone else notice that CSC hasn’t processed anything in just under a week? I keep checking processing times as we are CSC and they haven’t budged from March 10th in what feels like a lifetime!!

I have two children and my ex husband has signed a statutory declaration regarding the children moving. I made sure stipulations were in place though I had the solicitor write in exactly when we’d be filing that I keep him up to date with each process and also (not for the first year) but every year after that I would bring the children back to the uk for a minimum of two weeks and if for some reason we couldn’t get back we would fly my ex husband over and he could stay with us for two weeks. I know your ex husband doesn’t seem to want them go but any decent father wouldn’t to be fair so you may want something drawn up that shows him you’re not just running away with them. 

Hi, my fiancé and I originally were penpals and met through an online penpal. When filed our K1 this question came up on the forms and we just sent every piece of evidence we could regarding it not being a dating site. If you can find ‘whispers’ terms and conditions and print them off and include them I would suggest so. We did all of that and printed of the mission statement for the website and touch wood so far we have never been questioned about how we met. Good luck!
