Hello,
I just received a letter about my interview schedule.. what documents did you bring in the interview? Do we have to bring bank statements?
I bought to the interview: Current and Expired Passport. GC, Marriage Cert, my partners birth certificate (They are the US Citizen). Some 'co-mingled living' evidence.
I was asked to show justGC and the current passport.

@Alimanu I had my interview yesterday and my ceremony has been scheduled already. I don't know when exactly it will be because the letter isn't showing up on the USCIS website yet. However my "estimated completion date" jumped from Feb to May. Any update on your side of things yet?

Hey all - here's a write up of my Boston Office experience.
Entered the building about 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Security scanned my bag and went through a metal detector, nothing unusual here. A short queue, nothing harrowing. There were already at a glance around 30 people in the waiting area. I was checked in, given a number and directed to a seat. After about ten minutes I was called up for a biometrics check. They took my photograph, finger prints, verified my address and updated my travel details as been on a short vacation since submitting my application. The person I spoke to was friendly and cheerful, which put my nerves well at ease. I returned to my seat, and then about ten minutes later I was called up again to take my civics test. I was asked six questions, and got them all correct so we moved on. It happened so fast, I don't recall the questions I was asked. I was asked to write on an iPad "The president lives in the white house", and then I was told I had completed the test and should wait for my interview. Again, the person was very friendly and I was feeling good about the process.
At this point, it was about 5 minutes after my scheduled interview time which was great. But, I had to then wait about 1hr 25 minutes before I was called to an interview. My name was called, I was introduced to the officer who explained they would be doing the interview. We walked through to their office and I was sworn in. Due to a technical issue I had my biometrics taken again. I saw my file on the desk; it was huge and had some alarming but seemingly insignificant red marks on it. It even had the original post-it notes I had on my evidence submission for the ROC! We went through all the Yes/No questions on the form and confirmed my answers for each. I had to sign a screen to acknowledge the answers were correct. I then had to sign the screen again to indicate I understand the oath and will agree to it. I finally had to verify the information that was on the screen as that would form my certificate.
Finally, the officer informed me he will approve my application and I will be invited to the oath ceremony by mail in the coming few weeks. I was escorted out, shook their hand and went and bought a coffee with my wife.
All in all, the total time was 2 hours, the biometrics, test and interview combined was about 15 minutes.
Now I just need to wait for the ceremony part.

Hi, I am headed to the Boston office as well for my interview on Feb. 5. Apart from GC, tax forms for the last 3-5 years, marriage certificate, what else are you planning to take?
Hope both of us are approved on the spot!
Hey! I'm applying as a spouse so I am taking my spouse's birth certificate. Marriage Cert, Greencard and my passport. I wasn't going to bring the tax forms as I only have the PDFs that I uploaded with the application. I guess I could bring the evidence folder I have - but that was for the original application, since then I've been through the AOS and the ROC so it didn't seem necessary to bring anything else.
Good luck next week!

Could do a walk in
Attempting a walk-in today, the ASC is quite the commute so it's not ideal.

Got my biometrics, and it's the one day I'm not available - so applying for a reschedule. Dreading to think how this is going to impact the case, or even the processing times.

Long shot since this is an old thread; did you also get the biometrics in the mail? I have the opposite situation, I've got the digital document but not a physical one.

It seems like there are two threads for September 2019, would it make sense to merge these?

Added myself to the sheet; finished the ROC a few weeks back and now completed the N-400. Posted it last night... now back to the waiting game!

So wonderful to have this group of people being with me on my I751 application journey, we hug, support, lift up, warm up each other, walk together toward to the exit light....VSC filer here from July 2018 , fingerprinted August 2018. never been transferred, no interview , no rfe, received "We ordered new card for EAC1819xxxx" update email from old site today, but nothing changed on the new site. What letters should I expect to see in my mailbox next? Just two letters, one for approval letter, another one for green card? How many days to wait until receiving them? Thank you.
You will get a letter saying congratulations, it will advice you your card is being produced and you should not travel outside the USA until you receive the card. Yesterday or today, you should get a notification case approved, then card has been mailed to you.
For what it's worth, I had the 'We ordered a new card' message last Friday, and USPS informed delivery shows my greencard is being delivered today.

Thank you for the replies, much appreciated.

Filling in the online form, and this section is causing me all manner of mental gymnastics.
Situation: Came in on a K1 visa in 2016, so I am using the 3 year rule to apply for naturalization. Between August 2014 and May 2016 when I entered the country as a resident alien, I did a lot of travel and it calculates at 652 days outside of the USA over the last 5 years. Entering these on the online form results in a warning that I have been out of the United States for too long. Reading the forum, I'm seeing paper filers modified their form but not found much for digital filters. If I don't include the trips to and from the USA in the period before I entered as a resident alien the form validates.
How have other people handled this with the online form?
Thanks for any feedback!

Hi!
So I am a July '18 filer on CSC. No transfer.
In fact my case was... complicated and "weak". My main evidence were signed affidavits since my ex husband worked very little. So very little $ comingling.
On top of that I asked for the fees to be waived so by the time I got my extension letter it was the end of August 2018!!!
I filed July 16th with a NOA 1 August 10th 2018 and got approved (no RFE) August 8th 2019.
So there doesn't seem to be nor rhyme nor reason. Almost like whose file they grab first in no order?? Btw my fingerprints were done back in March.
So it looks to me trying to figure out some sort of timeline is impossible. There is no order I can see no pattern??
You'll probably not work out a pattern! USCIS attempt to work on a First-in-First-Out business model, but there are interrupts to the flow. RFE for example being the most notable. There's an analogy used in another post in this forum; The analogy isn't completely exact, but consider: You enter the shortest checkout line in a store. However, it moves the slowest. You're able to see that the longer lines have simpler and smaller groups of items. The few people in front of you have coupons, the cashier needs a price-check, a customer has the wrong credit card, etc. People who got into the longer line after you got into your line are being checked out (processed) before you are.

How do you check the approval estimate on VJ website ?
You can provide the various pieces of information on your VJ Timeline from this page: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/
You can subscribe to the alerts from this page: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/subcriptions.php
YMMV with the accuracy of the timeline estimates they give you, for example mine have ranged from September, to November to now being told it's overdue.

No idea for waiting times; it's been 402 days since the USCIS accepted my application, 91 days since I was transferred to Potomac, and ####### all since. Sigh.
