Best of luck getting a quick interview dates, travel to SA is pretty expensive and the flight is brutal...

Firstly that Unabridged birth certificate is very important. They will not approve her visa without it.If she is from SA she must get it as soon as possible from Home affairs. Take up to 3 months waiting period. (in process)
Secondly Police clearance for 6 months validation (In process)
Thirdly the form Affidavit from the US citizen also very important. (will start this when i get my NVC case number, believe its part of my Rapid Visa package)
US citizen tax reports to prove that he/she can take care of the beneficiary (Part of my package with Rapid Visa)
2x Passport photos (I thought I included these with my I-129 application, will i need additional?)
Letter of intent to get married in 90 days (Included these with my I-129 application?)
Proof of relationship (Included these with my I-129 application, but she's already spend 9 out of the last 17 months here in the US)
Some cases letter of No impediment (to proof she/he is single) also at Home affairs (had divorce docs included in I-129 package, will NVC or Consulate tell me if additional is required?)
The rest is proof that you have met and still have contact every day. (by the end of the year, she'll have spent 11 months here on two separate trips!!)

We just received notice that USCIS has approved our I-129 and is sending our paperwork to the NVC.
What paperwork is required going forward?
- We don't have a copy of her birth certificate, just her SA ID, but have seen that we can obtain one from a document service company in SA. Any recommendations of what service company to use?
- Will also need a Police Certificate? Any recommendations as well?
My fiance is with me in the US and has family in SA who can help , but any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

Thanks Yuni. Waiting for the Visa to process is such an excruciating process.

My K1 paperwork was received April 3rd at the CA USCIS office (I'm the petitioner) . I know that this could take at least 5-7 months. Here are my questions:
- When the USCIS sends notifications, will they contact me (the petitioner) or my fiance'?
- Will it be via email or regular mail?- How will RFE's (if any) be communicated?
- Are RFE's issued later in the process or in the beginning?
I sponsored my fiance's B2 visa, she obtained a 10 year multi entry. On her last visit, the immigration agent told her to maximise her stay because the amount of time she's spent here. She arrived in Feb and left in July for a total of 5 months. Since April of 2017, she's spent 9 total months in the US.
- Would you think she would be able to come back later this year or should we wait until 2019?
One last question...
- Are the processing times on the USCIS page just for their services or the complete K1 processing times?
Thanks everyone for your help. I hope your Visas go thru quickly!!!!

I applied for a K1 Visa for my fiance back in April 2018. Her current B2 visa stay (6 months) will end in August. I want to apply for an extension so we can be together until her consulate interview back in her home country. Question 3 on the I-539 asks " Are you, or any other person included on the application, an applicant for an immigrant visa?". Do I answer yes to this question? Or is a K1 a non immigrant visa?
Thanks!

Is K1 interview in US possible???
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures

Was curious if anyone has been able to have their K1 interview in the US instead of the foreign consulate? My fiance' is here on a B2 visa until February 2019, and our I-129 was just approved by USCIS on August 16th. I have a feeling that going back to her country for the interview will be mandatory, but was just wondering.
