You got letter where your case transferred my PD 22 January my case transferred 9 july but I m waiting for letter

Yeah got the transfer letter and it went to Nebraska. Based on the trends I see, all Jan F2A filers went to Nebraska, Feb went to TX, March went to Vermont and some few people went to Potomac.

It amazes me that I hear people whose cases are still in CA getting approved with some PD up to March 2018. Now every case is different with varying level of complexity but I believe some sort of prioritization is done on their end to process cases which seems haphazard to us. When they state"We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received." as a standard form of communication, to me it's a complete misrepresentation IMO. Sigh, that's just me.

  2. Received a case got transferred email. My PD is Jan 2018. No idea which service center yet. Online status shows similar info.

I think they've transferred most if not all cases from November, December, January and up to February from CSC to somewhere else from what I seen based on reports from people all over the interwebz.

Every other service center "Receipt Date for Case inquiry" is above Feb 2018. Let's see how much traction we have in the next month or two.

Best case scenario for folks who got transferred, you get approved in a month or so and can somehow get past NVC in 2 months time before they evaluate F2A category "C" status again in September.

Best wishes and good luck! 🤞

New July 2019 visa bulletin is out and F2A Final action date is current 'C'.

I am about to apply for AOS and i see this just few minutes ago.I can't believe.

    So everything gonna be fast.?

    Thoughts?

    Wow!

My I-130 hasn't been approved yet as it's in CSC and PD is early 2018. My spouse is still abroad. Can we proceed with NVC or have to wait?

Also at the bottom of the visa bulletin says this can last till September. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2019/visa-bulletin-for-july-2019.html

    D.  FAMILY-SPONSORED SECOND PREFERENCE VISA AVAILABILITY

F2A: This category has become "Current" for July, and is expected to remain so through September. This action has been taken in an effort to generate an increased level of demand. Despite the large amount of registered F2A demand, currently there are not enough applicants who are actively pursuing final action on their case to fully utilize all of the available numbers under the annual limit.

Once large numbers of F2A applicants do begin to have their cases brought to final action, it will be necessary to establish a date in an effort to control number use within the annual limit.  Therefore, readers should be aware that this “Current” status will not continue indefinitely, but it is not possible to say at present how soon corrective action will be required.

I find it confusing how to use the VB tables. There are two tables:

    A.  FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCE CASES

    B.  DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED VISA APPLICATIONS

Could someone please explain to me when to use  and when to use B? And how does that impact visa numbers and availability?

    Thank you in advance.

    A. If your beneficiary is abroad. Visa is available to them for counselor processing if PD is current.

    B. If your beneficiary is in the US. They can apply for adjustment of status if PD is current.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here. Thanks!

  5. Another unfortunate California service center casualty here.

Filed I-130 for Spouse living abroad as Permanent Resident.

    PD Jan 16 2018

California Service Center processing time is 16 - 20 months. :(

Visa Bulletin for July 2018 "Dates For Filling"  which is currently being used for Family sponsored suggest F2A for all other changeability is 01 Dec 17.  :)

In a couple of months if my PD becomes current but I-130 still not approved then what happens? I read on the forms that beneficiary  adjusting status within US can file I-1485.  That does not apply to us?

I see folks who filed in early Jan 2017 in CA Service Center finally getting approved in this thread so looks like 2019 for my case?

    Thanks.
