    Oh, I checked this link for the past year until today and it said 17 months: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ for I-130 (US citizen filing for parent). So I guess it's somewhere between 13-17 months for approval?

    From start to finish, it's only 12 months to get to approval? How did you receive the approved message? Is it through email or a letter through mail? Are your in-laws close to coming to the US? We're curious because we also started the paperwork for our parents from Vietnam.

    Hello, We're not at this stage yet, but I was wondering, when the I-130 is approved and comes time for parents to fill out the DS-260, are police certificates or court/prison records required to be uploaded and submitted, or are they only needed for the interview? Thanks.

    I see. What time was your scheduled interview and how long did you have to wait until you actually had your interview? My spouse also has an interview scheduled for 6/25 at the Seattle field office.
