    Does anyone know much time you get to gather documents for the DS-260? We already paid for the DS-260 and I-864 fees. We're stuck on waiting for the police certificates, one of our parents got a notice saying it could take until June to process their police certificate.

    No updates from us. We paid the fee, but haven't worked on the I-864 or DS-260. I was waiting to complete my 2025 taxes (maybe this weekend) and then it looks our parents won't receive their police certificates until March.

    Oh, I checked this link for the past year until today and it said 17 months: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ for I-130 (US citizen filing for parent). So I guess it's somewhere between 13-17 months for approval?

    From start to finish, it's only 12 months to get to approval? How did you receive the approved message? Is it through email or a letter through mail? Are your in-laws close to coming to the US? We're curious because we also started the paperwork for our parents from Vietnam.
