With no interview needed!
We filed on 4-15-2010 and Laura had her biometrics done June 2nd. That was a bit of a mess because the USCIS computer scheduled close to 100 people for the same time slot, so it was about a 2 hour wait, compared to the first time which was about 20 min.
She received her I-797C NOA today (dated 7-7-2010, "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved.
Today's my birthday, couldn't have gotten a better present!

Both pages? Do you mean both copies? Laura's AP is two copies, one page each.

Laura is leaving to visit the UK for a few weeks. Of course she's taking her passport that has the various things attached, visa, I-94 etc., her AP form, and a copy of our marriage certificate (she kept her last name, so figure there's no harm in being prepared).
Our question is, do they take anything when she leaves or enters? They've done things wrong before at the POE so want to know what to expect.
Regards...

Wow! That was fast! What's your secret? lolWe had our interview yesterday....man that was TOO EASY!! We were approved!! My wife got a I-551 stamp on her passport and the lady said she would get her green card in 2 weeks! -
If that's what the email means then they are really slow. It was transfered to the CSC on Feb 27 amd we received the mailed NOA about Mar 3. Seems odd we'd just now be getting the email.

Hmmm...no touches on Laura's AOS since it was sent to the CSC on 27 Feb.

I don't have Laura's SS card handy to look at, but don't remember seeing that on her card.

Sucks that they do electronic posting though, I can't view the back to get out case number
Scratch that, we can see the case number.

There were two feb threads and they closed the one I posted in, here's the new link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...howtopic=108079We've started our AOS process as of yesterday. There's a thread in the AOS section, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108307

Certified copy of your marriage certificate, that's what they ask for.4. As far as "evidence of marriage" goes -
The form says "a certified copy" which for all intents and purposes here in Georgia means an original. When I went to get ours after we were married, I got 4, you can't tell the difference between them. We sent one of those. We would never send the only one we had though.
-
Yeah, I was wondering why my link in the K1 section was broken LOLLike topics have been merged.Wish you'd merged the other direction though. The other thread had "February" first in the topic which is more logical. Easier to find.

I have no idea if we had to or not, but decided to in case the forms went to different places.oh geeze, I just send one copy of US citizen passport and intending immigrant for the AOS, EAD and AP

Life happens and I haven't been back in a good while.
Just wanted to let everyone know that this Dec Laura and I will be celebrating our 5th anniversary. Woohoo!
We've had our troubles, like most couples, but we're very happy together and things are going well.
I've done it before, but again, thanks to all who made the process of her getting here (relatively) painless.
