I've been scheduled an interview in June.   so fast, just finished FP two days ago. 

I feel you, I just went to biometrics today. 3 more days, my case will be a year.   

Oath is finally scheduled for May 4th!! That was faster that I expected, so it took about 1 month from interview to oath.

FINALLY. Biometrics reuse notice under the "Documents" tab!
 
U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has received your form and is currently processing your application, petition, or request. This noticeinforms you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and useyour biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded.

There's definitely people getting interviews from Baltimore, just not my luck yet i guess.

@ShpatBeqa They really love the "your case is still within processing time" response. That's the response I keep getting too, still zero update on biometrics here. Have you tried contacting any congressmen/women yet to see if they can help?
 
I calculated out when my husband's case would officially be out of processing time and that time would be around August 15, 2021. Absurd!

Giving this a try right now as we speak i am in a queue to speak to a live representative..
 
If they're busy and give you this msg "im sorry, all of our service representatives are currently helping other customers"
 
Just close the chat room REFRESH and start again with the same steps.
 
Also make sure you have your RECEIPT NUMBER and the questions ready...
 
 

97 days since biometrics completed yet still no interview...
 
November 12, 2020 Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS October 29, 2020 We scheduled you for a biometrics appointment April 30, 2020 We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and mailed you a receipt notice.

Interview today. Approved. We were told oath ceremony will be in about 3 weeks. 10 year green card also issued today.....haha. Classic.

I just got a response from the senator's office and they said:
 
"Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. Our review indicates that this case is within USCIS's current processing time. Processing time information can be found on our website on the USCIS Processing Time Information page. For employment-based or family-based Forms I-485, Forms N-400, or Forms N-600, please check processing times for the local field office. Once further action is taken, a notice will be sent to the address of record."
 
So, a big load of nothing again. I except no updates at this point. Case inquiry time to open an official inquiry at the local office here is October 9, 2019 as of today.

I had that status change about 30 minutes after my biometrics appointment. Then a few days later I got my interview date.

hope that speeds the process a little.

Finally an update that they are going to reuse biometrics.   

No updates here.....filing with the senator here soon as I've heard that helped others at my local office.

Biometrics done today Feb. 10, 2021 😀

I also tried to threaten them. We'll see what happens. My friend's interview was today. She said their whole system crashed and at least a 100 people was sent home and rescheduled for March. I plan on bugging them with messages and phone calls until they get sick of me. My other friend filed at the end  of October and his interview is already scheduled. It doesn't seem fair. Next time I call I'm going to be more insistent to find out where exactly my file is or talk to somebody other than the rep. 

What a stressful journey....smh. 
 

I read somewhere a post by someone who claimed to work at USCIS, he said that because of the closures in 2020, there's a total mess at USCIS right now and nothing is in order anymore. He urged people to nag USCIS for appointments as they're not doing things in the order the applications came in anymore (before the pandemic they at least did it somewhat in the correct order). I obviously don't know the validity of that post, but it was interesting to read.
 
And we do see some evidence of that, here in Los Angeles several July 2020 filers have gotten their interview appointments while people from late 2019 are still waiting.

Wait was about 15 minutes on hold before getting a person on the line, then finally a person answered. My husband asked what was going on, if his case had been transferred to the new field office and when a biometrics notice would be sent out. The USCIS rep said they need to "check", put him on a brief hold, then confirmed that the case had indeed been transferred to the new field office. Regarding biometrics, she just gave the same old, same old spiel about the backlog, USCIS working at lowered capacity due to Covid, and basically just keep waiting.
 
The weirdest part was, she mentioned an option being physically mailing a letter to the local field office, asking them to reuse biometrics?? She read us the address over the phone and just said to "find a template" online of a similar letter and physically mail it in. I don't know if anyone else has every heard of anything like this? It seems frankly ludicrous to me that mailing an unsolicited letter to the field office would do anything. I also attempted searching for this "template" or example of such a letter and did not find anything. I don't really know what to think of it. 🤷‍♀️ It seemed to be like she just made up this advice on the spot, has anyone ever heard of this before?

We flew to HNL this morning for her interview, scheduled for 9:45AM. She said it was very easy, IO was very nice, apparently somebody from the  4th floor that doesn't normally do naturalization interviews on the 5th floor came and got her, asked a few questions about me, my divorce, my age, what I do (retired), what did I do before I was retired, did not ask to see any of the documents other than ID and green card, oral question and written answer was about Lincoln, then she waited a while in a room, and took the oath ceremony with a batch of 9 other people from Maui at 11AM. It would have been at 10am except the IOs computer went down and she had to wait for things to get settled.
 
Regarding biometrics, they ended up sending us a reuse letter which we never got, but we found it in Yanisa's USCIS documents for the case when I was notified that the interview was scheduled. I'm glad they reused them because we have to hop over to HNL for everything and with covid, there's pre-travel test requirements ($$$) to avoid quarantine when you get back to Maui. I hope you may get a reuse letter also, maybe that happens closer to whenever your office starts working on a batch of n-400s?
 
I remember all the waiting we did in the previous phases for the K1, the AOS (I remember that Scandi was one of the earliest ones in our filing group to get approved for their AOS), and then the 10 year green card. It's frustrating seeing others make it through when you don't see any progress. But maybe it's also encouraging to see that USCIS is making some progress on n-400s?

Applied April 2020.... called yesterday and they only said I need to wait for biometric appointment. I am in Miami and the office is working half desk so I guess it will take a while

I'm here, still with nooooo updates. Planning on calling USCIS tomorrow to see what is going on.
