  1. Hi everyone!

Please I need your opinion. So my greencard is going to expire this 3rd of June and I sent my I751 on 05-24-21. Am I gonna get in trouble since I still don't have my extension letter while my greencard is expired? I mean correct me if I'm wrong but I was still able to send my papers within the 90 days window, right?

Please I am really anxious as to what will happen. Thank you so much in advance 😊

Hi Guys! I just called the SSN office and they said because now I'm out of status (01/09) they can't issue me a card. The save case website said that they received an answer way before my I-94 expired and now the SSN are claiming they didn't, so that means I have to wait until my EAD arrives which is BS. Have you guys encountered any case like mine? Do you know what to do next? This is so frustrating! 🤬

With mine i applied way before my I94 expires. i actually applied for my name to be changed to my married name bc i already have a ssn before. DHS says that they were not able to confirm my legal status. So i went to SSA to clarify everything but they cant reprocess it again bc my I94 is about to expire. Got no other choice but to just wait 🤔😥

No. If you Google "USCIS Bar Code Requirements" you will find this:

    https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-updates/uscis-2d-barcode-requirements

    "USCIS 2D Barcode Requirements

Third-party vendors may apply these requirements to their own commercial 2D barcode generators, which will improve accuracy and efficiency at our Lockbox facility.

Depending on which internet browser you use, the barcode may not be visible when you open the form. We will process all forms with or without a barcode at the bottom of the page."

    Thank you🙂

The USCIS website for each form has a link for required documents needed to submit. The instructions for each for also state what is needed.

You can also Google "I485 Cover letter" and many cover pages will come up stating what documents ppl have sent.

You can also look up Youtube videos on how to assemble the packages and it will show you what documents ppl sent.

And the G325A for AOS? No

Thank you!..How about the address on where to send the application?

You have two choices return to the Embassy and have them reseal it or take the envelope with you and submit it at your POE. The tear is not a big deal. So if it were me I would just go with it the way it is. Not a big deal. There was a couple just recently and she traveled to another country and then was going to go on from their to the states. Well immigration at that country opened her envelope. Since she was already in transit to USA she and I decided to go with it they way it was and explain to immigration in the US. She did that and had no problems and yours is only partially torn.

Thank you. I think the first option is not a good idea bc I think it's gonna take days or even weeks to get it back. I decided to have it wrapped again with a plastic wrap in that way the tear won't be bigger. Thank you so much for all your help @Greenbaum😊😊😊

  6. Hi @Greenbaum or anyone who can give their opinion about this. So I got my visa packet and I noticed this small tear on the yellow envelope. What should I do. I didn't open the packet,  I didn't even open totally the sealed plastic where the yellow envelope is in. I only made a whole to retrieve my passport and that's it. Will there be a problem? Please I need your opinion on this. TIA 😊

They aren't going to give you a new SSN because you only get one in your lifetime and it doesn't ever change. So I would say yes you have to input it because if you dont and they investigate that you DO have a SSN, they could call you out for not filling out the form completely.

What reason would you think to omit the truth?

Thank you. I'm not trying not to tell the truth. I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything correctly. Thank God I was right that I should input it there😊
