  1. Hi, I already got my citizenship. Some of them I don’t think are very friendly or kind but whatever. People can be rude sometimes online because there is no consequences and I don’t like that. Also I was just asking for help originally and didn’t expect to get all these unfriendly comments. I don’t care now. My journey with USCIS is over. Good luck to you.
  2. Hi, everyone. Just an update about my situation. I passed my combo interview and took my oath ceremony last week. So finally my USCIS journey is over. I know lots of you told me to wait patiently but I did push every way I can and somehow magic happened. I got my interview letter very soon after I pushed my senator office a couple times and finished my interview. Now I am an American citizen. If you don’t care waiting, it is fine. But I rather to get it finished soon than later especially I have waited a long time. Good luck to everyone!
  3. I don’t understand why they won’t do a combo interview? That is a shame that if I pass n400 and then I have to wait for i751 and don’t know how long it will be.
  4. I got n400 interview letter but my i751 status is saying fingerprint was taken. How do I know it is a combo interview? What if I passed the n400 interview but i751 still pending. Will that affect anything?
  5. Omg! I sent an email to my Senator and asked why people behind me already got their interview. And today I got my interview scheduled! I can’t believe it!!!
  6. I have a full time job and other things in my life too. But I definitely want to finish my USCIS process. It has been so many years. And it is so much longer than I expected. I know it is not fair, but it shouldn’t ridiculously unfair. Good luck to you too.
  7. Honestly, I also waited 14 month for AOS. And over 22 months for ROC. I know it is not a competition. But it is almost 2 years and nothing happened . It is very frustrating. They just keep extending form 18 months, 24 months, and 48 months now. It is being ridiculous.
  8. I also simply just want to end my journey with USCIS. And don’t want to deal with them anymore.
  9. Hi, I don’t know which office is Lin. My case was sent to potomac office and it is a very slow office. And it is not just one person who applied later than me got approved earlier. It is multiple people. As I said, maybe complaining won’t help but I definitely want to voice my frustration to USCIS. Also aren’t you curious why people who applied later than you got approved earlier? I think it’s unfair. I want to vote.
  10. Good to see so many unfriendly people here. It is interesting. Good luck on your cases and hope you never get angry and frustrated.
  11. I found your being very unfriendly and nasty.
  12. I just got the extension letter for 48 month of ROC. I don’t know is it because I wrote to my senators or I called USCIS. Maybe something helped. In the notice, USCIS said that they are working on cases that were filed before my case, which indicated that they should work on the cases based on the time they received. I am surprised to see many people here discouraging me honestly. Maybe you guys are lucky and got your citizenship very early, so nothing to complain. But it doesn’t matter, I will do what I can do for fight for myself. Even it didn’t work, at least I tried. I encourage other unlucky ones like me to do something too. Maybe the system will be fixed one day, who knows.
  13. But I didn’t do any crimes and what I don’t understand is why people behind me 2 months already got their citizenship couple months before me. Just doesn’t make sense.
  14. Yeah it does make me feel better to voice myself and let the director know.
  15. It won’t take any money. All I need to do is to write an email and send to those people I mentioned. And we won’t pay our lawyer friend anyway. Also it is not just for me, it is to fix the system in the long run and could benefit people in the future.
  16. Hi, thank you. But again people in Orlando applied later than me got their interview and citizenship so this process time is not accurate. I will try different approach to complain. Maybe it won’t really help but I want to let the system know that it is an unfair system and they should fix it. My husband and I decide to write to the director of USCIS. Maybe also ask an immigration lawyer friend for help. The director of USCIS should know how unfair the system is and as a federal agency, it is not right. Especially we are paying thousands of dollars and this is simply not right. I also will contact my senators and congressmen again for help and I want to know why my cases are not moving especial people behind me already got their interviews and citizenship.
  17. Hi, I had my i485 interview on July 2019. I applied i751 in May 2021. And applied N400 in 2022 May.
  18. Personally, I think my case is very simple and easy. when I had my green card interview, the officer told me it was an easy case and she didn’t even ask me any questions but only what is your name, DOB, etc. I don’t understand what you mean by background check? Since they already checked me many times before when I applied for K1 and I-485.
  19. I just think some of the comments are not very friendly. I am just simply asking some ways to complain USCIS and I think I have a legit complaint. I called USCIS and they told me my cases were just waiting for my local office to schedule the interview. If that is the case, I don’t understand why people who applied after me got the interview before me. If they are investigating my case, at least they should tell me what is going on with my cases. Maybe it is online and anonymous, people can just be mean to others without any consequences. I won’t reply to nasty and unfriendly comments anymore. It is not healthy.
  20. I found you very hilarious. Why would I withdraw my application? I am frustrating because it takes so long to be a USC. If I don’t care to be a USC, why would I spend the money and time to do this. I am trying to finish my application. I don’t understand why you are saying that. It is not very nice honestly
  21. I know it is unfair but I don’t want to tolerate this BS. That is why I am trying to do something to make it less unfair. At least I should do something and try.
  22. It is very disappointing that they processed people who applied later than me and my cases are still no movement. I think it is extremely unfair. I will try different ways to complain and push them if I can.
