I have a 2 daughters at home with me, one is getting married the end of July, does she need to go on that form? The other daughter is married, but home for a year while her husband is on his deployment. He is due to be home next April. I don't support her, she is just staying with me. It may be the end of July before I send this to my fiance, I just wasn't sure if I should put the daughter on it, if she is getting married in July.
Thanks.

I notice on here that people get emails from USCIS, about RFE's or approvals. When I got my RFE, I just received it in the mail, I never got an email. Is that normal? Has anyone else had that happen? I have checked the USCIS website and I have it checked where I can get the emails, just never received any. I was just curious.

I got an RFE for a certified copy of my divorce decree, which I did send a copy of my divorce papers, but now they want an actual certified copy of it. I will get it in the mail today, because I don't want to wait. I guess we will see how long from there.
Just kind of made me sad, because China is a country that takes so long for this process, oh well, what can I do, luckily I am some what patient, just a little irritated is all.

We were "touched" today, that makes me sooooooo happy. I was starting to get sad seeing others already gettting there approvals before me. This is the first one since I mailed it.

We are in the same situation as you, my fiance is also from Algeria, but he resides in China. You can still apply and he will interview in France. I contacted the US consulate in China and also contact USCIS before starting and was told that he doesnt have to be in his home country.
Good luck with your process.

I am dealing with CSC, just filed my paperwork in February. I am also LDS, so what do you want to know, my fiance is not. He is Muslim, which is new to me, I am not converting, I believe in the LDS church, so I am sure you are wondering if this will work. I respect his beliefs and he does mine and we love each other.

My fiance is living in China and not a resident, he is there on a business visa. After the interview and receiving the visa, he wants to go home to Algeria for a visit before coming to the U.S. I know he has six months before he comes here, my question is can he go home to Algeria and fly out from there and fly here to the U.S? I just wasn't sure how that worked, if the visa says he is approved but from the consolate in China, and yet he arrives from Algeria.
Might be a dumb question, just was curious. Thanks.

I am so glad to see this as well, thanks.

Just wanted to post we got our NOA1 today in the mail, California received it on Feb 12, and the notice was was dated Feb 16th. I was so excited, even though I know now it may be a long 3 months or more, just knowing it makes me feel better.

You should be able to get them done at a local law enforcement agency for free. Either a police department or sheriffs department. At least you can in my city, I work for both and neither agency charges any type of fee. Just call them up and ask them. They should have fingerprint cards as well.

I mailed our I-129F paperwork off today, it seemed to take forever to get it all together, but we are so excited, I expect it to be a long process, but I am patient person much more than my fiance, but hopefully the process will go by quickly.

On this form for my fiance, can I attach an additional sheet with the addresses, there isn't enough lines for his addresses for the past 5 years, and what if the employment information doesn't all fit, is it best to attach an additional sheet to each of the 4 forms? Also, there is a part in the middle of the form that asks for the address outside of the U.S. of more than one year, my fiance has several addresses, that are 6 months at a time, nothing more than a year, only his home address when he lived with his family, does it go in that spot?
I know this is confusing, I just need to know should I type it all out on a separate piece of paper and attach it or staple it to each form, or fill out what will fit in the lines, and attach the rest to a separate piece of paper to each form.

Just so you know you can download the new I-129F form on this website, it is on here, or you can go to the USCIS website and get it.

Does the letter of intent from my fiance need to have his original signature, or can he e-mail me it? Sorry if these questions, seem repetitive, just trying to get it done right.

Did I read somewhere in the I-129F process that something has to be notarized? Please let me know, I am getting a little confused. Thanks.

For the initial I-129 package, I know I have to send in copies of phone bills, do they need the entire bill or can I just send in the page that has the call to China? Some of my phone bills are anywhere from 4 to 10 pages.

Hello,
I'm Algerian citizen living in China for 2 years i met a us woman online before 22 months.
We met last month and we are starting the k1 process.
I asked the question about DCF and about starting the process from my country because i read it takes around 9 to 11 months to get a visa from china.
Also i'm living in china on A F(Business visa), so i'm not illegal here.
Thanks.
-
I don't know about DCF in china because i have no residency papers here, neither my us fiancee.
Also to clarify the situation more i'm not americain i have a fiancee she is americain she is living in the us and going to fill the petition for me.

Not silly at all, yes you can as long as there is some on back home that can collect your mail, and let you know if you got RFE, NOA1, NOA2, ect.
I assume you maintained your residency at a parent's home.
Also if you have not found it yet, check out CFL http://candleforlove.com They cover all things Chinese/American visa and relationship related.
One other possibility is researching DCF if you plan on staying in China for a while. Marry there, and file for CR-1 visa at the consulate.
Well thank you i plan on doing it from my parents house but then one problem is when do i have to be physically present at my country and what about my phone number do i have to provide one of my brother for example?
Also there is one step when i have to provide copy of my passport so how it's going to work with my out of my country?

Hello All,
I have a question that may be wired and i hope nobody will throw something on me.
Me and my fiancee are starting the process of k1 visa with me staying in china.
I was thinking is it possible to start the process providing my address in my country and when they will start sending packages to me i will go back there.
I hope it's not silly question
Thanks for your understanding.

On the I-129F form it asks for my fiance's name and address of where he lives, in his native language, which is Arabic. My fiance seems to think since he lives in China, that he doesnt need it in Arabic. I say it does. What is the correct way?

Hello,

Me and my US fiancee we are starting our K1 process and i was wondering if someone can help me with police record here in Guangzhou and also Shenzhen.
I just made a registration with the police here in Guangzhou before a week and i didn't have that back in Shenzhen.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am getting ready to mail the I-129F packet out, but my situation with my fiance is a little different. He is from Algeria, living in China on a business visa not a work visa and has lived in Guangzhou, China for two years now. I contacted the U.S Embassy in China and they did say I can still apply through there instead of him having to return to Algeria.
What my question is, do I need to put somewhere in the application process his situation? Maybe explain it more in an attached letter?
Sorry if my question seems silly, I am new at this.

Finally by email, got my NOA2, I was getting so impatient. I read the email at work first thing this morning and screamed and laughed, I am sure my co-workers thought I was nuts.
