I filed at CSC and walked in for my biometrics after seeing one other person here get approved very quickly after getting theirs done.

I hope I get approved too. This am they updated my case again, with second fingerprints recieved message. Did this happen to you too?

Im a January filer and had to go in for biometrics last Thursday even though I had received a waiver. Got my 10 year card in the mail today. Ive seen another person get approved 2 days after their biometrics so anyone that needs to go in for biometrics even after initially being waived is probably near the end of the process.

Hope so. I asked the guy at the ASC - what's next, and he said - keep checking your mail. Hoping this is the end. I just did a walk in yesterday.

    March 2018 filer CSC

    Received date: 03/15/2018

    12 month extended: 03/23/2018

    biometrics wave: 05/11/2018

    18 month extended: 10/16/2018

    new biometric appointment: 05/16/2019

I did the biometric yesterday. Someone in the same situation? Anyone approved after new bio? How long did it take?

Same here. I just came back from doing biometrics. CSC filer.

I got the biometrics appointment after after I had a letter from them waiving off the first time.

NSC unfortunately appears to be the slowest processing center, though I remember two people that were transferred there on February 6 have recently been approved.  That does not necessarily mean yours will be approved a month later.  It could been sooner, it could be later.  It is USCIS, after all.

    Congratulations on the baby!

CSC processing times are now 13- 18.5 months. I think they approve 1 case a day :)

We submitted same documents as you (April 2018 filer). No kids / no mortgage / renting with both names on lease.

Our lawyer checklist included adding affidavit from friend / family but we did not get chance to work on it and end up skipping it.

Now i'm worried if we might end up getting RFE too. 😭

@sharin Unrelated. Did you travel back home with the extension letter? Any issues?

I’ve had the “inactivity alert” option set to “yes” ever since the start of my application. The feature never worked and I never received any updates until yesterday (Tuesday) when I received my first ever “inactivity update” similar to what @Cougarfalcon83 is experiencing

    I’m a CSC May 22 filer NOA June 12

I don’t know honestly. Also why was my case not transferred. Everyone before or after me got transferred.

My guess is my case slipped through the cracks or it is transferred but there is a system glitch

As long as it doesn't go to the bottom of the pile and they still go in sequence i'm fine. Joe's biometric is Monday. i'll see when the next update is based on getting that completed.

Someone was asking if the transfers could mean interviews. that's a lot of interviews they would be scheduling if that is the case. Let's hold on to a slimmer of hope that they are just trying to spread the workload. Last April, our cases were delayed due to the H1B cases needing to be filed/entered. I don't know if that has to be done every April or if the deadline for H1Bs change every year, but they could just be preparing for that and sending the cases to continue in the process without further delay. i'm trying to be optimistic. 😁

You guys are lucky. My case doesn't move at all. Mayb time to file N400

we received our biometrics letter yesterday confirming they are reusing his biometrics from before luckily (CSC, sent late may)

something interesting I noticed was that the case 1 ahead and 1 behind us (both I-751) were transferred to another office, but not our case? I was under the assumption they were grouped together. would this mean maybe our case will be transferred soon, or just luck of the draw?

Putting 2 -2 together from what @GBOS said.. I think is these cases are aligned in batches for the officers to take. So maybe one officer transferred his entire pile to some other office etc. and our officer still hasn't gotten to our files to either (1) Transfer (2) Process.  Not sure man, this is like a black box. Its frustrating. I have never got a solid answer.
