Yes that is correct. No interview yet. Just wondering what will happen. As it is, things are very slow and would be a bummer to get delayed because of typo (without my fault).

Just filed the application few weeks back and did my biometrics. Error occurred when they typed in my information with the initial N-400 paper application submission. All receipts, FP notice have error. Opened SR. Took infopass as well. I was told you can get it corrected during interview. It can't be corrected now due to some regulation. Did everything.

Green card is good. All the paper forms and attachment submitted, are good. When they entered information from paper form, they mistyped it.

Does anyone know if the typo error in name (error done by USCIS) is created during interview. Does this delay the processing of N-400.

For general category the total fees is $725 per application (this includes fees for Biometrics). This fees can be waived if you fall under certain category defined by USCIS. I think all that detail is in the instruction for N-400.

What do they ask during finger printing? My name is wrong on finger printing notice. Will they ask me to confirm my name that is on application during finger printing process? I am worried as they typed in my name wrong (paper submission). I don't know what to do.

It's a big deal as they do background and name check based on that.That is why I am really worried. All the information was correct on the paper form when we submitted.

My friend do you know if someone has tried this and USCIS has corrected their name? I am reading online that this has not worked.

Got email/text notification after a week of delivery of docs and then 2 days after text, got the receipt. I stay close to my filing center. so the mail arrived quicker.

   my name is misspelled on my notice and FP. I have opened a service request to rectify it. What should I do if they don't correct my name before my FP appointment? Can I go for FP appointment?

Few more notes on top of what @arya already said:

 

If your ceremony is before 10am, the garage next door is not an option.  They let people w/o a pass in only starting 10am.

You'd have to remove your belt, etc, but they did let us keep our shoes on.

 

We had a judge sing us a song at the end.  The dude lied though when he said he wasn't a good singer.

The judge also stayed after the ceremony to let people take pictures with him and their certificates.

 

If you need a passport quick (and have proof of travel ) and have an appointment either on the same day or with a few days they will likely let you come in right after your ceremony regardless of when is your actual appointment.  If you don't have an appointment, still try to see if they'd let you in, but you'd likely have to rush there right after the ceremony, since a few people may try that as well.

I did. But apparently no one has paper filed N-400 at Chicago Lockbox in April. So just worried. Waiting for a week, check not cashed, no text/email.
