My fiancee's a Filipino, but she spent a year teaching in Thailand and has been told she'll need a Thai police clearance.
I'm thinking about using Siam Legal to get it. We've talked to two people at the Thai embassy in Manila and were told different requirements, along with being told by the Thai police (via one of my fiancee's former coworkers in Bankok) that they won't do the background check without a letter from the US Embassy...which the US embassy doesn't provide anymore.
Anyone work with Siam Legal for something like this (or know of any other companies that can process police clearances in Thailand)? This is the last thing we need before my fiancee can schedule her interview at the US embassy in Manila. -

Sorry to necro-post, but has anyone gone through this process recently?

My fiancee's a Filipina, but she spent a year teaching in Thailand.
I've been told (by a company that specializes in K1 Visas) that she'll need to get a police certificate from Thailand, but everything I've seen is about getting the person in person.
Is it possible to get the police clearance without her having to travel to Thailand? Anyone know the process? Thanks.

AndrewAlp, any idea how to contact her? I tried the US phone number on their website and it seems to be disconnected?
