Hi everyone,
I really need help with some advice and information. I entered the states end of April 2019 and am a CR1, I have heard that it can take up to 120 days to receive the physical green card. On my Cr1 visa it says the endorsement acts as a temporary green card valid for a year but my actual visa expires July 2019 and I need to attend a wedding in August so if I don’t receive my green card by then does that mean I can’t travel ?

You will have to return to the UK and hold a job there at least 6 months earning £18,600 before you can apply for bringing your husband. There are no joint sponsors allowed so you must have a job.
It's going to take time to feel at home in the US. Doubting the move already isn't a good indication that you'll give it a fair shot. You can apply for US citizenship after three years then can move back and forth at will with no immigration applications for you.
I have been there before just for a vacation and I must say I really liked it! And yes I guess it will take time but I am really looking forward to my move 😊 especially to be together with my husband is the such a great feeling.
Thanks for all the advise!

I am moving to the states in a few weeks but I am just thinking in case if I don’t like it there, how soon can I sponsor my husband to move with me to UK, and what is the process like? (I am a British citizen)
I know you should be earning and have 6months pay slips which I have would that be sufficient ?

Just a quick question:
Does the physician Doctor keep the medical report from GP or do they send it off to the Embassy, because I thought I was suppose to get that back but my physician kept it .. did they forget to give it to me or do they keep and pass onto the embassy?
Thanks in advance

Don't worry, that's probably just fine. That's the same process that I had to go through. Everything looks fine! Good luck at the interview!
Ok thank you soo much for the reassurance!! 😊

Thanks for the response @Trif2018 .. I picked the 3rd option 😐 and then it asked to passport number and case number when I did that my interview details came across I confirmed them the next step was selecting a location for pick following that I used the premium service and paid £19 for them to deliver to my home address I also got this email.. so have I done it incorrectly ?

Hey 🙂
I was the same. I booked mine when I uploaded to ceac. I booked it 4 weeks in advance but they had availability the week after.
It is valid for 6 months so I would book it and get it out the way. ( just remember to print off the email from nvc or take the letter confirmation)
you should be case conplete in the next 4 weeks at the most 🙂
@Uk2usa2016 thanks for the quick response, appreciate that!
I shall all call on Monday and see if I can get an apointment with them for the next month 🙈 and good luck to you also for the next stage ☺️

It depends which embassy as I had my medical with London before my case was completed.
London embassy -to book medical requires u have an email with the nvc case number on only.
@Uk2usa2016 hope you’re doing well ☺️
My husband and myself have uploaded all docs on ceac on 3rd of October and just waiting for cc (🤞🏻) should I also book my medical as I am also from London or is it too early ?

August 17th is the date of approval which is always the date on the NOA2.
USCIS updated the site on August 21st.
@abies you’re a star! Thank you for that
232 days in the US with CR-1 process, but still no green card!

@peterparker thank so much for your reply! Much appreciated.
so does that mean I can travel? And how would I know when my one year expiry would be is it from the date I entered ?
Its strange because at port of entry the officer stamped my passport and it says cr1 with an expiry of July 1st so do I ignore that ?
