  1. Congrats to you! Ours must have been mailed out the same day from CSC - I received NOA2 on the 8th but they mailed it to the NVC only on the 20th. They said they mailed it to Embassy on the 23rd but it must have missed the mail - package was only picked up from the NVC today. :(

Anyway never mind, we will get Packet 3 soon enough and then it's INTERVIEW DATE! Yea!

Good luck to all of us!

NVC phone always busy  ...now i'm sending email....hopes for the reply soon.

  2. It's possible to do so. I lived in China for 2 1/2 years and took pets there and back. However, you will need verifiable rabies vacinnations and health certificates to do so. I don't believe that the US typically quarantines animals. You should check the cdc web-site at: http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/animal.htm#dogs.

    Best regards,

    PPFKL

thank you, and good lucks to ur case..i hopes u get approval soon...take care.

Hi, how can u tell if NVC receive your case? Thanks

i called 603-334-0700...but its not automatic

    NVC Automated Voice Response Service

So your I-130 or k1 i129f petition has been approved and forwarded to NVC

Now you are wanting to know if it has been received and a case number assigned

You can use your CIS (NOA) receipt number from your approval to find out.

On calling the NVC automated voice response number (603) 334-0700 you will.... press 1 for English press 2 for Spanish

press 1 for information about your immigrant visa

It will then ask you if you know your CIS receipt number.....press 1

(Once you have a case number you can use this.....press 2)

You then follow the instructions to key in your number.

If will then tell you if NVC has received the petition, and assigned a number.

This automated service is available 24/7.

Once you have your case number you can call them at any time to hear any updates on your case, using either the NVC case number or your CIS (NOA) receipt number.

i called NVC -AVRS -10:55PM California time, Option 4 for WAC....case not receive yet...i guess i will wait a few more days.

  4. No not automated for these, you just have to call, be prepared to call and call and call. They will ask few questions, if its there they will give you the number, then few days call again get current status. Also u can send email to ask same questions, give benef. name, birthday case number now, etc and ask if they have received, they will answer. I got them best in late evening, but today was around lunch time so no reason to when.

Thanks, i will call them tomorrow.
